We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical suffering, lifting up your broken leg to the Great Physician, who is able to heal all mannerings of wounds and infirmities. It is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot anoint you with oil in this moment, we join our faith with yours, trusting in God’s power to restore your body.
We notice, however, that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and salvation come. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without faith in Jesus, there is no true healing, no eternal hope. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Believe that He died for your sins, rose again, and lives to intercede for you. Confess Him as your Savior, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Father in heaven, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your healing touch upon their broken leg. You are the God who knits bones together, who restores strength to the weary, and who works all things for the good of those who love You. We ask that You would accelerate their recovery, ease their pain, and surround them with Your peace. If there has been any delay in their healing, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to leave, for it is written that *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, let Your power be made perfect in their weakness, and may this trial draw them closer to You.
We also pray that during this time of recovery, You would fill them with patience and perseverance. Let them use this season to seek Your face, to meditate on Your Word, and to grow in faith. Remind them that even in suffering, You are working for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their heart, Lord, and let them testify of Your goodness when their healing is complete.
If there is any unconfessed sin in their life, we ask that You would bring conviction by Your Holy Spirit. Forgive them, cleanse them, and restore them fully—spirit, soul, and body. May they walk not only with a healed leg but with a heart fully surrendered to You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
