my born again husband has gone away with his friends wife. The wife has now divorced her husband to be with my husband. I do not accept divorce, so i am standing in the gap for my husband to come back to the LORD, me his covenant wife & our children. I want to be able to stay strong & pray to get results. I have been standing for many years now, am i doing something wrong??? Please help!

We read in James 1:12, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.â€

We are all going through the battle of our life, dear friends. No one is exempt from the sufferings of this world. Whatever you are facing, there is always hope when you belong to Christ. There will be a time for your trial to end; and if you have held out in faith to the end, you will be rewarded in this life and the next. Why does God allow us to go through heartache and pain? It is only in the crucible that we gain an eternal perspective of the power of the God we serve. It is there that we see that Christ does meet us in every trial causing it all to work according to his perfect plan. It is there that we are strengthened as he draws us near to him.

Each struggle brings an opportunity for God to manifest more of his power in you. It is his strength to take us through to the end and our training for the royalty that awaits us in heaven. Yet, there are still times when the answer to our prayers for help seems so far away.

Even knowing God has a purpose for our trials, the things that come against us in this world will never make sense to us. However, the divine purpose for all we endure must complete its work in us. Even Jesus knew that he had to endure great pain that we might be redeemed. In Luke 22:43-44 we read that Jesus went to the Mount of Olives to pray before he was to be crucified. With great anguish over what he was to suffer, his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. Yet as he obeyed his Father’s will, an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him. Jesus understood that there were eternal implications in all that he had to endure. He willingly gave his life that we might be saved.

Hey Eugene. That site mblordi.com really touched my life and made an impact for me. I really like the story about Bartimaeus. I was just like him for years and didn't even know it. About a month ago I gave my life to Jesus and now I can see again. I still have a lot to work out, but my life has changed and I will continue to follow the Lord until death do us part. Thanks a lot. That was an awesome testimony of faith that I will never forget. What a blessing to hear this. I will never walk in darkness ever again. Thank you Jesus for everyone on here really turning to God for help. This is the best decision we can make as people. Turn to God and not the world. Dear God the great and mighty counselor to hear this type of trial makes me want to praise you morer father help this wife thats standing in the gap still believing against all odds for the marriage between her and her husband to become reconciled father her husband have been driven away from her and their family by his lustful flesh father we no that patience will have her perfect work father you said that we have to pray for our enemies even those that have hurt us so i stand with this woman of faith asking that you would deliver her husband from this bondage and that he may want to come back and reconcile with his wife and family father convict the heart of the mistress let her no that there is room at the cross for her too help her to understand that she is in adultery father touch her mind create in her a clean heart and renew the right spirit within in the name of jesus one more thing father heal this heart broken wife and bring her heart joy by giving her back her husband in the name of jesus i pray amen

Fix what is wrong in this marriage and make it right. Bless each of us to be totally committed to You and Your plan for our lives. Teach us how to pray and intercede for each other, our children, and love ones. Let love, joy, peace, and faithfulness to You God and each other reign within the walls of our hearts and home. Give both of us patience and a great respect for each other. Help us; teach us how to be gentle, compassionate, courteous, and tenderhearted toward each other. Help us to remember what drew us to each other. Show us Lord Jesus how to keep Love strong and healthy in our marriage. Bless my marriage Lord Jesus. Lord, I come in the name of Jesus asking that you to make a way in this wilderness of healing and restoration in their marriage.

Lord, that your grace is sufficient to carry them through difficult times, your power is made perfect in their weaknesses and the power of Christ is in them [2 Corinthians 12:9]

Lord, I pray that you will allow healing and reconciliation to take place. That whatever hurts or disappointments they have experienced can be mended through the power of your undying eternal Love. We realize Father that they cannot change anything that has happened. But, they can go forth together keeping, renewing and once again honoring their vows. We ask that you endow them with wisdom to endure and a tongue that speaks healing, restoration & peace.

Lord, I ask that you would mend their hearts closely together and be the center of their marriage. Lord we ask that they seek forgiveness for any wrong doing. We pray that they extend love and patience to one another and that the lines of communication, sensitivity as well as understanding are once again opened. We ask that you will allow all the pain, hurt and disappointment to begin to subside. Lord we ask that forgiveness is welcomed by each of them. Lord we ask that you would allow your joy to flow once again from heart to heart between them. Father we ask that you direct them as they seek you first in building trust, transparency and intimacy. Father we pray peace over their household.
