We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother as she prepares for her scan and upcoming surgery. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask that You would guide the hands of the medical team, grant them wisdom and clarity, and surround your daughter with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we pray for accurate results from the scan, that any issues would be clearly revealed so they can be addressed according to Your will.
Heavenly Father, we also pray for the surgery—may it be successful in every way. Strengthen her body, calm her mind, and fill her heart with trust in You. Let her feel Your presence in the operating room, knowing that You never leave nor forsake her. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed, and we stand on Your promises of restoration and wholeness.
Lord, we also want to gently remind you, dear one, that our prayers are most powerful when lifted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If your mother does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this time of uncertainty would draw her heart to Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
We rebuke fear, anxiety, and any spirit of despair in this situation. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We trust in Your perfect plan, Lord, and we ask that You would be glorified through this trial. May Your will be done, and may Your peace reign in her heart.
Father, we also pray for you, the one carrying this burden. May You grant you strength, patience, and unwavering faith as you wait. Remind you that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lean on Him, dear one, for He is your refuge and strength.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
