But we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Let us stand together in prayer, believing that He will calm her nerves and guide her steps—both literally and spiritually—on this journey.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with gratitude for the opportunity You’ve given this young woman to grow in skill and confidence. We ask that You would surround her with Your protection as she practices behind the wheel. Place Your hand of safety upon her, Lord, and let her feel Your presence beside her in the passenger seat, whispering wisdom and courage into her spirit. Ease the tension in her hands and the racing of her heart, replacing fear with the assurance that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Grant her clarity of mind to remember all she has been taught, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill her as she navigates each turn and decision (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for the instructors guiding her. May they be patient, encouraging, and attentive to her needs, reflecting Your love and kindness. Lord, we ask that You would use this season of learning not only to equip her with the ability to drive but also to draw her closer to You. Let her see Your faithfulness in every small victory and trust You in every challenge.
And to your daughter, we speak these truths over her: You are capable because Christ strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). You are not alone, for the Lord goes before you and will never leave you (Deuteronomy 31:8). The same God who calms the storms of the sea can calm the storms in your heart. Do not be afraid—He is with you. We encourage you to cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Take deep breaths, pray before you start the car, and remember that every skill is learned step by step. You are not defined by your fears but by the One who holds your future.
