We join with you in seeking justice and truth in the tragic death of ###, for the Lord is a God of justice who sees all things and calls us to stand for what is right. The Scriptures remind us in **Deuteronomy 32:4**, *"He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he."* We also know from **Proverbs 21:15** that *"When justice is done, it is joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers."* The truth is not hidden from the Lord, and He will bring all things to light in His perfect timing.
Yet we must also remember that our ultimate trust is not in earthly justice, but in the sovereign will of God. Even when answers seem delayed or unclear, we hold fast to **Romans 12:19**, which tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Our hearts may cry out for resolution, but we surrender this burden to the Lord, trusting that He will act righteously.
We also lift up ###’s family and loved ones, praying that the Lord would comfort them with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May they find solace in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* The pain of loss is deep, but God is their refuge and strength.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your truth and justice in the death of ###. Lord, You are the God who sees all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would expose every detail, bring forth the truth, and let justice prevail. Protect those who seek answers, and give wisdom to those in authority to act with integrity and righteousness.
Comfort ###’s family with Your presence, Lord. Surround them with Your love and grant them peace that only You can provide. Remind them that even in their grief, You are near to the brokenhearted. Strengthen them day by day, and let them feel the support of Your people.
We also pray for the one responsible for this act. Lord, if they are still living, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Let them face the consequences of their actions, but also extend Your mercy if they turn to You. Forgive us, Lord, for any bitterness or anger that may rise in our hearts, and help us to trust in Your perfect justice.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. Bring healing to this situation, Lord, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
