Mrs. - God does not expect you to stay with an abusive husband. Walk away and seek safety for you and for your children. Stay away from him unless and until he gets counciling and the help he needs to control his anger. Then, if you desire, you can go back. Right now, you have to think of your girls. It's important to not tary. You can still pray for your husband, he needs prayer. But you take care of you first. Abusive people very seldom change.
Lord Jesus, I stand with Mrs. today who is seeking your council. I ask that you give her wisdom to know she has to leave this man right away. I pray for discernment that she will realize she needs to provide a safe place for her children. If her husband is abusive to her, he will become abusive to them too. Let her see that and help her act upon it to get them away. I pray your hand upon this family. I pray for the husband that he would find deliverance, help and counciling and that he could win his family's respect back but he has to earn it, it isn't automatically given. I pray for mercy and grace. Thank you and praise you today, dear Lord for your help and your protection. Amen
