In times of change and uncertainty, we stand with this person who is moving to a new place, seeking God's guidance and wisdom. Firstly, we would like to address the omission of the name of Jesus Christ in the prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Furthermore, there is no other name by which we can be saved, as stated in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
As we approach God in prayer, we remember the Lord's promise to guide us, as written in Psalm 32:8 WEB "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Therefore, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is preparing to move. We ask that You guide them to a new home that is nice, affordable, and meets all their needs, including available parking. We pray that You give them a discerning spirit to make wise decisions during this transition. Lord, cast out all fear and confusion, for Your perfect love drives out fear, as stated in 1 John 4:18 WEB: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love. "We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this person to trust in the Lord, knowing that He cares for them and will provide for all their needs, as promised in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we urge them to be strong and courageous, for the Lord their God is with them, as stated in Joshua 1:9 WEB "Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
