NEW PLACE TO LIVE

I have lived in a house situated on a lease land for my entire life. My dream is to buy a house for my mom and my 5 kids. They don't even have a play area where I currently live. I have finally located a property. It's an old fixer-upper that I'd be excited to call my very own because I know that I can work and fix it to my liking. The owner of the house promised to sell it to me as she said I was the first to reach out to her about purchasing it. She told me to call her bk Friday, I called her recently and to my surprise she told me that their neighbor is opting to purchase it and I've now become a second option and that the only way I'll get it to buy is only if the guy doesn't come through and isn't serious about it. I don't wanna sound selfish, but I wished the neighbor could change his mind. Maybe even get something way better than that old house that I'm after. I can't afford anything newer/better with my job plus responsibilities as a single mom.. I pray soooo hard that I get this house to make it become my and my kids and mom home. Please pray for me.
