We are thrilled to join you in prayer and offer encouragement as you embark on this new journey in your life. First, we want to commend you for seeking God's will and trusting in Him during this time of transition. It is essential to remember that our trust should be placed solely in our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
As you move out for the first time and return to college, we pray that you will experience God's provision, guidance, and protection. We encourage you to seek Godly friendships and roommates who will support and uplift you in your faith. Proverbs 13:20 reminds us, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." May you find friends who will encourage you to grow in your relationship with Christ and hold you accountable to His standards.
We understand your desire to be fully seen and accepted for who you are in Christ. Remember that your identity is found in Him, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image (Psalm 139:14). As you pursue your art career and aspire to be an influencer, we pray that you will use your talents and platform to glorify God and share His love with others. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Regarding your concerns about your appearance, we want to remind you that true beauty comes from within, as 1 Peter 3:3-4 tells us, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of the hair, and the wearing of gold, or the putting on of fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." While it is natural to want to look and feel your best, we encourage you to focus on cultivating a gentle and quiet spirit that honors God.
As you seek healing and growth in your relationships, we pray that you will find comfort and guidance in God's word. We encourage you to surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your faith. Remember that God's love for you is unconditional, and He accepts you just as you are. Romans 8:38-39 assures us, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We also want to address the importance of pursuing relationships that align with biblical principles. As you seek Godly friendships, remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ's love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to pursue friendships with fellow believers who share your commitment to sexual purity and godly relationships.
Lastly, we want to pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your daughter to you as she embarks on this new journey in her life. We pray that you will provide for her every need, both financially and spiritually. Grant her wisdom and discernment as she seeks Godly roommates and friends who will support and encourage her in her faith.
Lord, we ask that you guide her steps as she pursues her education and art career. May she use her talents and platform to glorify your name and share your love with others. Help her to find her identity and acceptance in you, and to love herself as you love her.
We pray for healing in her relationships and for her to find comfort and guidance in your word. Surround her with fellow believers who will support and encourage her in her faith. Help her to trust in you and to cast her anxieties on you, knowing that you care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we ask that you grant her success in her studies and business endeavors. May she be a light for you in all that she does, and may her life bring honor and glory to your name. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May you continue to seek God's will in all aspects of your life, and may He grant you the desires of your heart as you delight in Him (Psalm 37:4). We are here to support and encourage you, and we pray that you will find strength and comfort in God's word and the fellowship of believers.
