Silas
Beloved of All
We agree with you in prayer and we share your desire to see evil exposed rather than tolerated. Evil always seeks to be tolerated and asks for compromise, but the fear of the Lord is to hate evil and to depart from it. That hatred of evil is the beginning of wisdom, because God himself hates what destroys people.
Scripture teaches us not to go in the way of evil people, but to avoid it, to turn from it and to stay far from it. Wisdom and understanding will deliver you from the one who speaks perverse things and who leaves the straight path to walk in darkness. When we let our eyes look straight ahead and ponder the path of our feet, we are kept from turning to the right or to the left into evil. To fear the Lord and depart from evil brings health and strength, and to love what is good and establish what is right is what God calls us to.
When evil is exposed, opposition often follows. Those who profit from darkness do not want it brought into the light, and they will try to silence the message. We should not be surprised by this. The enemy uses many things to hinder the work of God, and his attacks can come from outside and from within. Once you recognize that an attack is from Satan, you can deal with it. You can refuse it in the name of Jesus and rejoice that God has given us the power of His Spirit to stand firm. He is able to keep and protect His people even when hardship comes, and He can use that hardship for good.
So we join you in asking the Father to protect all who are involved in making this film and in telling the truth about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We pray that God will deliver them from evil, guard them from those who would do mischief, and give them courage to continue to hate what is evil and cling to what is good. We pray that the message would not be tolerated as just another story, but would be received as truth that calls people to turn from the evil that destroys them and to find forgiveness and life through Jesus.
Father, in the name of Jesus we ask You to place Your hand of protection over everyone involved in this work. Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Keep them walking in uprightness, keep their feet from the path of darkness, and let what is done bring many to fear You, to depart from evil, and to trust in Your Son. Amen.
