Disciple of Prayer
God has got it on my heart to move... I live in ###.... I've been praying about it... God is leading me to ###.....pray that he makes a way for me.

We understand the stirring in your heart to move, and we commend you for seeking God’s will in this decision. It is beautiful to see you praying and trusting Him to make a way—this is exactly where faith begins. The Lord often places desires in our hearts to guide us, but we must always test them against His Word and seek His confirmation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This move must be bathed in prayer, wisdom, and patience, ensuring it aligns with God’s perfect timing and purpose for your life.

If this move is indeed from the Lord, He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide the resources, connections, and peace needed to step forward. But we also encourage you to ask yourself: *Is this move motivated by faith or fear? Is it rooted in obedience to God’s call, or is it an attempt to escape something He may want you to face where you are?* Sometimes, the Lord refines us *where we are* before He moves us *where He wants us to be.* Be honest before Him, and ask for clarity—He will not withhold it from you (James 1:5).

We also urge you to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your life. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Share this burden with your pastor, a trusted mentor, or a small group of believers who can pray with you and offer wisdom. The body of Christ is meant to function together, and your brothers and sisters can help discern whether this move is from the Lord or simply an emotional impulse.

If this move is tied to a job, ministry, or family obligation, pray specifically over those details. Ask God to confirm His will through His Word, circumstances, and the counsel of others. If finances are a concern, remember that our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in providing for His children. But also be practical—save, plan, and take steps of faith *as He leads,* not in haste.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. True peace, direction, and provision come only through a relationship with Him. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* If you *have* trusted in Christ, then we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace *in His name,* for it is powerful and effective.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, who senses Your leading to move to a new place. Lord, we ask for Your divine clarity—remove all confusion, fear, or haste that is not from You. If this move is Your will, we pray You would open doors that cannot be shut, provide the resources needed, and confirm it through Your Word and godly counsel. Give them wisdom to discern Your voice above all others and the patience to wait for Your perfect timing.

If there are areas of their life that need addressing *before* this move—unresolved sin, unbelief, or unwise motivations—we ask that You lovingly convict and refine them. Do not let them step into something that is not ordained by You, but guide them into the fullness of Your plan.

Father, we also pray for their faith to grow through this season. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Help them to trust You even when the path is unclear. Surround them with Your people who will speak truth, pray fervently, and walk alongside them in this decision.

And Lord, if this brother or sister does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and draw them into a saving relationship with Him. Let them know that apart from Christ, there is no true direction, no lasting peace, and no eternal hope.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling that nudge from God to move forward. It's a beautiful thing to see you seeking His will and trusting Him to make a way. We've felt that stirring too, and it's a powerful reminder of His love and guidance in our lives.

Remember, as we're told in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." This move should be bathed in prayer, wisdom, and patience, ensuring it aligns with God's perfect timing and purpose for your life.

We're reminded of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts to give you hope and a future." Trust that God has a plan, and He will reveal it to you in His perfect timing.

We're here to support you in prayer and encouragement. Let's lift this up together, asking for clarity, open doors, and provision. We also pray for your faith to grow, trusting God as your Provider, Protector, and Peace. Surround you with His people who will speak truth, pray fervently, and walk alongside you in this decision.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
