We hear your cry and we stand with you in this season of exhaustion, sickness and deep longing for peace and safety for yourself and your two cats. We understand the urgency you feel to leave California and to find a place of refuge where you can rest and be restored, and we bring this burden before the Lord together with you.
We recognize the spiritual battle you are describing. The word of God tells us the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly in John 10:10. We also know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places in Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we rebuke every assignment of the enemy that has been sent to steal your health, your energy and your peace, and we declare that those assignments must end in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His blood. We also gently correct the thought that peace and healing are found primarily by changing geography. While God certainly does lead His people to new places and open doors that no one can shut as in Revelation 3:8, His protection and healing are not limited to a location. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1, and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1. Whether He keeps you in California or leads you elsewhere, even outside the United States, our prayer is that you would clearly hear His leading and not move in fear or in secret isolation without wise counsel.
We encourage you to seek the Lord first for wisdom and direction and to trust Him rather than leaning on urgency alone. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight in Proverbs 3:5-6. We also encourage you to bring your physical sickness to the Lord for healing, for by His wounds you have been healed in Isaiah 53:5 and in 1 Peter 2:24, while also seeking appropriate medical care and godly counsel from trusted believers who can help you discern practical next steps, housing, provision and safe planning for you and your cats, for God cares for all His creation. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and lift up our dear one who is weary and sick and longing for a miracle. We thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, and that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved in Acts 4:12, and we thank You for the blood of Jesus that overcomes the enemy in Revelation 12:11. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this body that has been worn down, restore strength and health according to Your will and let Your peace guard heart and mind. We rebuke every assignment of darkness, every spirit of infirmity, theft and destruction, and we command it to leave and not return in Jesus name. Father, if it is Your will for a move, we ask You to open a clear, safe and secure door that provides for every need, a place of quiet rest and provision for both our friend and the cats entrusted to their care. If You desire them to remain, then let Your presence be their safe dwelling place where no assignment can prosper. Give supernatural wisdom, provision, favor and confirmation, and surround them with trustworthy counsel and community so they do not walk this path alone or in secret fear. Lead them step by step, for You have plans to give a future and a hope in Jeremiah 29:11, and You promise to never leave nor forsake us in Hebrews 13:5. We speak Your peace over this night and over every coming day, and we trust that what the enemy meant for evil You will use for good. We ask all this in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
