We hear the deep anguish and exhaustion in your words, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The isolation you’re feeling, the frustration, and the sense of being overwhelmed by unseen forces are real, but they are not the end of your story. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it sounds like he has been working overtime to wear you down with fear, harassment, and despair. But we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to give you life, and life abundantly.
First, we must address the spiritual battle you’re facing. You cry out for Satan and demons to leave you alone, and we affirm that plea with the power of Jesus’ name. The Bible tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not powerless. The blood of Jesus has already defeated the enemy, and as a believer, you have the right to command darkness to leave in His name. But resistance requires more than just words, it requires faith, surrender, and a posture of standing firm in Christ.
Your desire to withdraw from everyone and everything is understandable, especially when you feel harassed and drained. But isolation is one of the enemy’s most effective tactics. Scripture warns us, "Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhort one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25). Even Jesus, in His darkest hour, sought the company of His closest friends (Matthew 26:36-38). You were not created to walk this life alone. God designed us for community, for accountability, and for the strength that comes from fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of the truth when the lies feel overwhelming.
We also notice your mention of canceling prayers and feeling inundated with welfare. While we don’t know the full context, we want to gently remind you that prayer is not a burden, it is your lifeline. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17) is not a command to add stress to your life, but an invitation to remain connected to the One who sustains you. Even when you don’t have the words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you (Romans 8:26). And regarding welfare or any other provision, God is your ultimate provider. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). But He often uses people and systems to meet those needs, so we encourage you not to cut off potential avenues of help in your frustration.
Most importantly, we must address the foundation of your faith. You invoke the blood of Jesus, and that is powerful, but do you know Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you placed your trust in Him alone for salvation? The Bible is clear: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most critical step in breaking free from spiritual oppression.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed, harassed, and isolated. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and despair that has been tormenting them. We command every demonic influence to flee right now in the authority of Jesus’ name. You said in Your Word that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life, and we claim that life for our brother/sister today.
Father, we ask that You break the chains of isolation. Surround them with godly community, people who will speak truth, pray with them, and remind them of Your love. Help them to see that they were not meant to walk this journey alone. Lord, we also pray for provision. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Whether it’s through work, welfare, or other means, we trust that You are their provider.
We ask that You fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When the enemy whispers lies, remind them of Your truth. When they feel weak, remind them that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). And Lord, if they have not yet fully surrendered to You, we pray that today would be the day they invite Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
We declare that this season of harassment and oppression is coming to an end. We stand on Your promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen our brother/sister to resist the devil, to draw near to You, and to walk in the freedom that is theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to take these steps today:
1. Renounce isolation: Reach out to at least one trusted believer, even if it’s just to share your struggle. You are not a burden; you are a brother/sister in Christ.
2. Stand on Scripture: Write down verses like James 4:7, 1 John 4:4, and Ephesians 6:10-18. Speak them out loud when you feel attacked.
3. Seek deliverance prayer: If you haven’t already, ask a pastor or mature believer to pray over you for deliverance from spiritual oppression. Jesus gave His followers authority over demons (Luke 10:19), and that authority is yours in His name.
4. Surrender fully to Jesus: If you’ve never prayed to receive Christ, do so today. Confess your sins, ask for forgiveness, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation of your victory.
You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and calmed the storm with a word is fighting for you. Hold on. The breakthrough is coming.
