We join you in bringing this need before the Lord with thankfulness for His mercies. We pray that God in His great compassion will hold His hand over your loved one and keep him in safety on the road, delivering him from peril and from the gates of danger. We ask that the Lord will grant him wisdom and carefulness in every journey, with watchful eyes and steady hands and a heart that seeks to honor God in all he does. We remember with you how often God has delivered us from dangers and calamities when we would have perished without His care, and we give thanks for His tender mercies that crown our lives. May this remembrance lead to continual thankfulness and trust in His grace through Jesus Christ, and may the Lord keep your loved one in greater safety under His protection. We pray this in the name of His only begotten Son. Amen.
