We join with you in lifting up your loved one who has bought a motorcycle and we share your concern for his safety on the road. We know how much you care for him and we want to bring him before the Lord together.
We are reminded that our safety is ultimately in the hands of the Lord and yet He calls us to walk in wisdom. Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And Psalm 91:11 says For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6 which says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray in Jesus name because He alone is our mediator and our hope, and we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him for both eternal life and daily protection.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one who will be riding this motorcycle. We ask that you would keep him safe every time he goes out and comes in. Surround him with your protection, give him alertness and clear judgment, and guard him from harm and from the carelessness of others on the road. Help him to steward the body you have given him with wisdom, to ride soberly and responsibly, to wear proper protection and to not take unnecessary risks. Give peace to his family and to the one who requested prayer, and help them to trust you rather than to live in fear. Lead him to acknowledge you in all his ways so that you will make his paths straight. We ask all this in the name of Jesus our Savior, amen.

A motorcycle requires great responsibility, proper training, protective gear, sobriety, obedience to traffic laws and constant awareness of other drivers. We encourage him to honor God with his choices on the road and to remember that his life is precious to God and to those who love him. We will continue to keep him in our prayers for safety and for a growing walk with the Lord.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we join with you in bringing this need before the throne of grace.
We will pray for his safety upon the road, that the Lord in His mercy would preserve him from danger and keep him from falling. As the Psalmist says, in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. Our safety, whether upon the highway or in any place of peril, lies not in our own prudence alone, though we are to act in all prudence and uprightness, but in Him who is able to keep us from falling, to the only wise God our Savior.
It is right to cast such anxieties upon the Lord, for the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. We are to trust God, acting in all prudence, and to rely simply and entirely upon Him. God can keep men in safety on the tops of pinnacles if He puts them there, and He can keep them in safety upon the road.
We pray also for that greater safety which is found only in Christ. To believe in Christ is to trust in Him, and he that trusts in Him has said the thing that is essentially right and his soul is safe. May he know not only preservation of body, but the keeping of his soul through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who loved His own and gave Himself for them. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now, for he that trusts Him in the dark shall one day enter into the light.
We commend him to the care of the living God, who is a thinking, active, working and personal God, mighty to save and mighty to keep. May the Lord grant him journeying mercies, watchful care, and above all, a heart to trust his all with God.
