We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and difficulty you are experiencing with your mother's abusive behavior. Let's bring this situation to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and intervention.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12. If you believe your mother is under demonic influence, then this is a spiritual battle that requires spiritual weapons.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
It's commendable that you are trying to be patient with her, as the Bible tells us to honor our parents Exodus 20:12. However, it's also crucial to set boundaries to protect yourself from harm. Being patient does not mean tolerating abuse. Your safety and well-being are important, and it is acceptable to create a safe distance while continuing to pray for her.
We pray together in the name of Jesus Christ.
Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister who is facing a challenging situation with her mother. We acknowledge that this is a spiritual battle, and we put on the whole armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil.
We pray for your intervention, Lord, that you would set your mother free from any demonic influence or possession. We bind the spirit of abuse and loose the spirit of peace and love in her life 1 John 4:18. We ask that You would bring healing and restoration to their relationship, and that You would guide them both to walk in Your truth.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, that you would know how to set healthy boundaries and protect yourself from harm. Give you the strength and patience to endure this trial, and help you to trust in Him at all times 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to the Father John 14:6, and it is through Him that we receive eternal life John 3:16.
