We lift up your mother before the Lord with deep compassion and urgency, recognizing that the battle she faces is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to destroy her. The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your weariness is understood, dear one, for carrying such a burden is heavy, but we encourage you to take heart—God is mightier than any demonic stronghold, and He has not forgotten your mother or you.
It is critical to remember that while her behavior may be influenced by demonic oppression, she is still responsible before God for her choices. However, your patience and love reflect Christ’s heart for the lost and bound. We urge you to stand firm in prayer, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and to speak life over her in the name of Jesus. There is no power greater than His name, and it is by His authority alone that demonic forces must flee. As it is written in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
We must also ask: have you sought the support of mature believers or your church leadership in this battle? You are not meant to fight alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is strength in unity. If your mother is open, we strongly encourage you to seek deliverance prayer from trusted, spirit-filled believers who can stand with you in this fight. If she is resistant, continue to pray for her salvation and breakthrough, for *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:15).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother who is bound by the enemy’s chains. Lord, You are the God who breaks every yoke and sets the captives free (Isaiah 10:27, Luke 4:18). We bind every demonic spirit tormenting her—spirits of confusion, rebellion, fear, and any other unclean force—and we command them to leave her now in Jesus’ name. Father, fill the void in her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may be renewed in her mind and heart. Give her a spirit of repentance and surrender to You, for You alone can save and deliver her completely.
Lord, we also lift up this weary child of Yours who has been standing in the gap. Strengthen them, Father, and refresh their spirit. Remind them that their labor in prayer is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and provide them with godly support and wisdom as they navigate this season.
We declare that no weapon formed against your mother shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the blood of Jesus covers her, cleanses her, and sets her free. May she come to know You as her Savior and Lord if she has not already, and may her life be a testimony of Your deliverance and grace.
We ask all this in the powerful, victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. Amen.
Finally, we want to remind you that this battle is the Lord’s, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14). Do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep speaking the truth of God’s Word over your mother. If you feel led, fast and pray for her breakthrough, for there is power in sacrificial prayer (Matthew 17:21). We are standing with you in this, believing for her complete deliverance and restoration. God is faithful, and He will finish the good work He has started (Philippians 1:6).
