I am alone with the extermination of family and generation.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this painful situation that weighs so deeply upon you. The torment you describe—both from your mother’s harsh words and the wounds of betrayal, job loss, and family division—is not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Let us first address the spiritual foundation of your request, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of God. You have rightly invoked His name, and we stand in agreement with you, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is your anchor in this storm.

The pain of a mother’s rejection cuts deeply, especially when her words are laced with bitterness and accusation. Yet the Scripture you shared, *Psalm 27:10—"Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me"*—is a profound truth. Even when human relationships fail, God remains faithful. We must pray for your mother’s heart to be softened, for the Lord to break the spirit of resentment and bitterness that has taken root in her. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice"* (Ephesians 4:31). Her words are not just against you but are a reflection of her own inner brokenness. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her of the pain she is causing and lead her to repentance. *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). While we cannot control her actions, we can ask God to help you respond with grace, even as you set healthy boundaries to protect your own heart.

The financial and emotional abuse you endured at your workplace is a grievous injustice. The betrayal of coworkers and the destruction of your reputation are wounds that need the healing touch of Jesus. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirits of deception, division, and destruction that operated in that place, and we ask the Lord to restore what the enemy has stolen—your peace, your provision, and your purpose. *"The Lord will restore the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25). If fear and anxiety now hinder you from working, we pray for the Lord to break those chains. *"For God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Ask Him to open doors for employment that align with His will, and to give you the courage to step forward in faith.

Your mention of your spouse’s dislike for your family is another layer of pain. Marriage is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33), and while we cannot force harmony, we can pray for unity and for your spouse’s heart to be softened toward your family. *"If it is possible, as much as it is in you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). Pray together as a couple, seeking God’s wisdom on how to navigate these family dynamics. If there is unresolved conflict, we encourage you to seek biblical counseling to address these divisions with love and truth.

Most urgently, we lift up the salvation of your family. You quoted *Acts 16:31—"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."* This is our prayer—that every member of your family would encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The generational cycles of pain and division can only be broken by the power of the Gospel. We pray that your mother, your spouse, and all who are far from God would experience His convicting love and turn to Him in repentance. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9).

Finally, we speak life over the feeling of being "alone with the extermination of family and generation." In Christ, you are never alone. You are part of a spiritual family that spans eternity (Ephesians 2:19). The Lord is rebuilding what has been broken. *"I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord"* (Jeremiah 30:17). Cling to Him, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this Your child who is carrying such heavy burdens. Lord, You see the pain caused by a mother’s harsh words, the wounds of betrayal and job loss, and the division within the family. We ask You to be their comfort and strength, for You alone can heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

Father, we pray for this mother’s heart. Break the spirit of bitterness, resentment, and anger that has taken root in her. Soften her heart, Lord, and help her to see the pain she is causing. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit and lead her to repentance. Give Your child the wisdom to respond with grace and the courage to set boundaries that honor You. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke the spirits of deception, betrayal, and destruction that operated in the workplace. Restore what the enemy has stolen—peace, provision, and purpose. Break the chains of fear and anxiety that hinder them from working, and open doors of opportunity that align with Your will. You are their Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Father, we pray for unity in their marriage. Soften their spouse’s heart toward their family, and help them to navigate these relationships with love and wisdom. Let their home be a place of peace and mutual respect, reflecting Your love for the Church.

Most of all, Lord, we pray for the salvation of their entire family. Let each one encounter Your saving grace and turn to You in repentance. Break the generational cycles of pain and division, and let Your Gospel bring healing and restoration. *"Turn us again to Yourself, God. Cause us to be restored. Renew our days as before"* (Lamentations 5:21).

Father, remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people. Heal their wounds, restore their joy, and lead them into the fullness of life You have for them.

We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
