We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heartfelt prayer, acknowledging the power and authority we have in Jesus Christ. Your request for protection over your health, life, and family is deeply important, and we stand with you in seeking God’s divine covering. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:9-11, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We trust that God’s angels are indeed encamped around you and your family, shielding you from harm.
We also recognize your plea for God to arise and fight against those who speak or plan evil against you and your children. It is written in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We pray that God will expose the intentions of those who seek to harm you and that He will turn their plans into confusion, just as He did for Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:22-23, when the enemies of Israel turned on one another. Let their words and schemes be rendered powerless, and may they come to know the truth and repentance that leads to life.
However, we must also address the language of "returning arrows and weapons by fire and by force." While we understand the desire for justice, Scripture teaches us to leave vengeance to the Lord and to respond with love and prayer, even for our enemies. Jesus instructs us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." We encourage you to pray for those who speak against you, that their hearts may be softened and that they may come to know Christ. This does not mean we tolerate evil, but we trust God to handle it in His perfect way and time.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your unfailing love, mercy, and grace that You pour out upon us each day. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection over their health, life, and family. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no harm come near their dwelling. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn, for this is their heritage as Your servants (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You arise and fight for them. Expose the plans of the enemy and turn their schemes into confusion. Let those who speak evil against them be put to shame, and may Your peace and justice prevail. We pray for their enemies, Lord, that You would soften their hearts and draw them to repentance. Help us to love them as You have loved us, even in the face of persecution.
Lord, we also ask for Your healing and strength over their body, mind, and spirit. Renew their strength like the eagle’s, and let them mount up with wings as they wait upon You (Isaiah 40:31). Protect their family, Lord, and bind them together in Your love. May their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship to You.
We trust in Your promises, Father, and we declare that You are their refuge and fortress. No evil shall befall them, and no plague shall come near their dwelling. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender and protector. Clothe yourself in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and remain steadfast in prayer. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Walk in His peace and trust in His timing.
