More work and employment opportunities

We hear your heartfelt plea for provision and opportunity, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and favor in this season. The Scriptures remind us, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). This is not just a promise of survival, but of divine abundance, enough to sustain your household and fuel the ministry God has placed in John’s hands.
We must also acknowledge the weight of responsibility that comes with ministry. While the work of an evangelist is noble and necessary, it is not without cost. The Lord calls us to be faithful stewards, not only of the Gospel but of the resources He provides. "Let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches" (Galatians 6:6 WEB). This is a principle that extends beyond the local church, those who are blessed by the ministry should also support it, so that the laborer is not left to carry the burden alone. Have you considered inviting those who benefit from John’s ministry to partner in prayer and provision? The Lord often moves through the generosity of His people when they see the fruit of the work.
We also lift up the matter of employment opportunities. The Lord is not a God of scarcity, but of purpose. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:5-6 WEB). This is a season to seek Him for clarity, whether He is calling you into secular work to fund the ministry, or if He is preparing doors within the ministry itself for sustainable support. Either way, we must trust that His timing is perfect.
There is also the matter of unity in purpose. As you seek employment, are you both aligned in prayer and expectation? "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 18:19 WEB). This is not a magic formula, but a call to unity in faith. Are you both seeking the Lord’s will together, or is there any division in how you approach this need?
Now, we come before the throne of grace on your behalf:
Heavenly Father, we lift up John and his wife before You, knowing that You see their needs even before they speak them. Lord, You have placed a calling on John’s life, a ministry of the Gospel that is meant to reach souls for Your kingdom. We ask that You open doors of opportunity, not just for their provision, but for the advancement of Your name. Provide work that sustains, but also work that aligns with Your purpose. If it is Your will for them to labor in the marketplace to fund the ministry, then make their hands skillful and their efforts fruitful. If it is Your will for the ministry itself to become self-sustaining, then raise up partners who will stand with them in prayer and support.
Father, we also ask that You guard their hearts against discouragement. The enemy would love to distract them with worry, but You have not given them a spirit of fear. Remind them daily that You are their Provider, their Shepherd, and their Strength. Help them to walk in faith, not by sight, trusting that You will never abandon them.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom in stewardship. Show them how to manage what You provide, so that there is always enough, not just for their needs, but to be a blessing to others. May their lives be a testimony of Your faithfulness, so that others may see and glorify You.
And finally, Father, we ask that You deepen their trust in You. When the wait feels long, remind them that You are working all things together for their good. May they find their security not in employment or income, but in the unshakable truth that You hold their future.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
