More Self-Control

This prayer is adapted from the Daily Marriage Prayer podcast​

Dear Lord,

We repent of the times we have lacked self-control. Instead, we choose to walk righteously. We lay down our wills and submit to all that You have for us. We desire to live in a way that honors You so that You may be pleased and glorified.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN!

Prayer for Spiritual Focus and Self-Control
Please pray for God's help in overcoming distraction and busyness that hinder my time with Him. I’ve struggled repeatedly and can’t do this in my own strength. Pray that I’m strengthened by His Spirit to resist temptation and focus on Him. In Jesus Name, Amen, Thank you.
