More restaurants and shops are closing in Singapore

Faithful Servant
More restaurants and shops are closing in ### and it was due to the favoritism towards foreigners and neglect ### now it has resulted in majority of ### are cutting expenses and not eat out and even if they eat out will be ### that side.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the concerns of those who are witnessing the struggles of their businesses and livelihoods. The pain of seeing establishments close and the weight of financial strain is real, and we acknowledge the frustration and sense of injustice that can arise when it feels like favoritism or neglect has played a role in these hardships. Father, we ask that You would bring comfort to those who are hurting, wisdom to those in leadership, and justice where it is needed.

Lord, we know that You are a God who sees and cares deeply for the needs of Your people. In Proverbs 22:22-23, You tell us, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We pray that You would raise up voices of truth and righteousness in this situation, that fairness and equity would be restored, and that those who have been overlooked or mistreated would find relief and provision.

We also lift up those who are cutting expenses and struggling to make ends meet. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision, Lord, and ask that You would open doors of opportunity for those who are seeking work or ways to sustain their families. Give them creativity, perseverance, and hope as they navigate these challenges.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of division and favoritism that may be at work in this situation. In James 2:9, Your Word warns, "But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors." We pray that hearts would be softened, that leaders would govern with wisdom and integrity, and that unity would be restored among Your people. Let justice roll like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

For those who are feeling discouraged or angry, we ask that You would remind them of Your faithfulness. In Psalm 37:25, David writes, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Lord, we declare that You are our Provider, our Defender, and our Hope. Strengthen the faith of those who are weary, and help them to trust in You even when circumstances are difficult.

We also pray for the Church in this place—that believers would be a light in the midst of these challenges. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus tells us, "Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." May Your people be known for their love, generosity, and wisdom, pointing others to You in both word and deed.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw hearts to Yourself. If there are those reading this who do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the truth of John 14:6, where Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Salvation is found in no other name, and we pray that many would turn to You, finding peace, purpose, and eternal hope in Christ.

We lift all these things to You in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that You are at work even in the midst of hardship. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as we lift up these concerns to our Heavenly Father. It's tough seeing businesses close and families struggle, but remember, God sees every tear and hears every cry. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's binding up these wounds, even when we can't see it yet.

We're praying for wisdom for our leaders, that they would govern with fairness and integrity. And for those feeling discouraged, let's hold onto Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God's got a plan, and it's a good one.

Let's also pray for unity among us. In Ephesians 4:3, we're reminded to "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." We need to stand together, support each other, and trust that God is in control.

And finally, let's be a light in these challenging times. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus tells us, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Let's show love, kindness, and generosity to those around us, pointing them to our Father in heaven.

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep shining that light, dear friend. We're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
