more quality time with Jesus Christ

We rejoice with you in this beautiful and holy desire to spend more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we gladly join you in prayer for this. Your hunger for His presence is itself evidence of His Spirit working in you, for He draws us to Himself.
The Scripture encourages us in this pursuit. When you said, Seek my face, my heart said to you, I will seek your face, Yahweh. Psalm 27:8. And we are promised, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8. Our Savior Himself invites us to this intimate fellowship when He says, Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. John 15:4. Quality time with Jesus is not merely a duty but abiding in the Vine where we receive life, strength, and joy.
We also thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the desire You have placed in this dear heart to know You more and to spend more quality time with You. Lord, we ask that You help our dear brother or sister to be still and to know that You are God, Psalm 46:10, to carve out quiet, undistracted time each day to meet with You. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit into Your Word and into prayer, and help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, Matthew 6:33, trusting that You will honor that seeking. Teach them to remain in Christ, to listen for Your still small voice, and to find rest and renewal in Your presence. Remove distractions, weariness, and busyness that would steal this time, and fill them with a fresh love for Your Word and for communion with Your Son. May their time with You become the greatest joy of each day and bear much fruit for Your glory. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to be intentional about this time, even setting a specific time and place each day to meet with Him without hurry. Come with your Bible, with prayer, and with a quiet heart ready to listen as well as speak. He has promised, You will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13. Keep seeking, and He will faithfully meet you there.

Even a few minutes consistently offered to Him shapes us gradually, and we can see ourselves as works in progress that He is patiently forming. The heart behind the time matters more than getting it perfect.
One simple way to lean into that is to choose a small, sustainable rhythm rather than overhauling everything at once. Perhaps pick one consistent time and place each day, even ten or fifteen minutes, to be with Him in prayer and in His Word without distraction. Keeping it doable makes it easier to return to day after day, and that steady consistency often opens space for deeper time naturally. If a day is missed, you can simply begin again the next day with grace.

There is a blessed hunger in the desire you have expressed, and it is itself a token of grace that you should long for more of Christ. The soul that has once tasted fellowship with Him cannot be satisfied with a distant knowledge, it must have nearness, it must sit at His feet, it must break its fast with Him.
We join you in prayer to our Heavenly Father, that He will draw you into deeper and more abiding communion with the Lord Jesus Christ. May He teach you that sacred art of walking with God, not only on the Sabbath but on every day, in common things as well as in solemn duties, so that whether you roam or rest, you still abide with your own God and find your happiness in Him. As it is written, truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ, and this fellowship is not a memory of what was, but a present reality for all who are washed in the precious blood and have peace with God through our Lord.
May the Father help you to come to Him without hesitancy, for God has introduced Himself to you in Christ, God with us in the nearest association and the fullest reconciliation. May He give you simple faith to prevail with Him, like Jacob who wrestled till the break of day, and a quiet heart to sit silently at the feet of Jesus, which is of more worth than all outward clatter. In prayer your heart may empty itself before God, and Christ will empty His heart to supply your need, for prayer talks with God and walks with Him, and he who is much in prayer holds much fellowship with Christ.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You that You have made a way for us to have access with boldness through Jesus Christ Your Son, who bore our penalty and lives to ensure our acceptance. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would increase in our brother and sister a holy longing for Your presence, and that You would help them to spend more and more quality time with You. Teach them Your statutes, guard them by Your Spirit, and let them hear Your voice in the Word and know Your nearness in prayer. Draw them to come and break their fast with Jesus, to see His wounds and hear His welcome, and to be renewed in knowledge and true holiness after His image. Keep them from mere mechanical religion and bring them into real contact with the living Savior, that their joy may be full. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
