We rejoice with you in this beautiful desire to spend more and more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, for this is the very heart of our faith and the source of all spiritual growth and joy.
We hear your longing to draw nearer to Him and we join with you in asking our Heavenly Father to deepen your fellowship with Him. The Scripture tells us, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8. Your hunger for Him is itself evidence of His Spirit working in you, for He promises, You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart Jeremiah 29:13.
Spending quality time with Jesus means abiding in Him daily through prayer, through His Word, and through quiet stillness before Him. As Jesus said, Remain in me, and I in you John 15:4. We are encouraged to make this our first priority, for Jesus Himself rose early in the morning to pray in a solitary place Mark 1:35, showing us the pattern. We also remember the psalmist who said, One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple Psalm 27:4, and the promise that when we Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.
We encourage you to set apart a consistent time and place each day, free from distraction, to meet with Him. Come with an open Bible, for His Word is how He speaks to us, and we meditate on His law day and night Psalm 1:2. Come with prayer, not just speaking but also listening and being still, for He says, Be still, and know that I am God Psalm 46:10. Even a few minutes of sincere, undistracted communion is more precious than hours of hurried religion.

Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.
Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.
Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 
for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

A hunger for more quality time with Jesus Christ is itself a mark of grace, and it is a prayer which the Heavenly Father delights to answer. There is no holier desire than to be much with Jesus, for to live with Him is to live indeed.
Our Lord Jesus still says, Come and break your fast. He is thoughtful of your wants and He spreads the table for His people. He knows that many a battle is lost because the soldier is not in good condition for the fight, and you need stamina if you are to do hard and long work for His truth. Do not be content with a mechanical religion, an outward hearing without inward touching. There are many who come near to Christ and yet have no stream of life and love flowing from Him to them. What you seek is real contact, that mysterious touching of His blessed Person by faith, such as the still deep waters know. And He invites you further, Come and see. They came and saw where He dwelt and abode with Him that day, and the best part of that day was the portion which they spent with Jesus. So would it be with you, if you give Him your mornings and evenings, your quiet hours, your everyday burdens and your hard questions. Prove Him with the harder things, for there is no question too hard for Him to answer, no burden too great for Him to bear.
Take heed that you do not set the Lord Jesus at nothing by preferring business or amusement or mere hurry to fellowship with Him. Many say they have no time, but in truth they have not the heart. Redeem the time, and make a place to be alone with Him in the Word and in prayer, coming to Him as a sinner as you did at the first, even as if you had never come at all.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for putting this holy desire into this heart. Help Thy child to spend more and more quality time with Thee, to sit at the feet of Jesus and to feast with Him. Draw this soul into deeper communion, into still and abiding fellowship, that being much with Jesus, there may be more likeness to Him and more strength for all duty and trial. Keep this one from cold and formal religion and grant real contact with the living Christ, that doubts may flee and faith may be nourished. Grant grace to seek Him early, to consult with Him in all things, and to abide with Him all the day. This we ask in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Savior. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
