"More Love, More Power, More of You in My Life" -- Song/Prayer Requesting Christ to Be Formed in Me, Indwelling Fruit of Spirit, Gifts, Power...

Nochaeld

Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Regardless of Reasons — I should have quietly born the provocation as silently as a lamb before it’s shearers, Isa 53:7, Acts 8:32, and had no deceit in my mouth, 1 Pet 2:22-23, rather than “jealousy which is a husband’s fury” Prov 6:34, and “as strong as death,” Song 8:6. If I have a chance to do it over, I would rather "power be perfected in weakness,” and “gladly rejoiced in insults, 2 Cor 12:9-10, for when I am weak, then I am strong.” -- I should have turned the other cheek, Matt 5:39, demonstrating love while we were yet sinners, Rom 5:8...

Please ask God to change her heart, forgive me for keeping a record of wrongs, 1 Cor 13:5. If she was reconciling, who was I to bring it up? 2 Cor 5:19-20... May I truly be granted better wisdom, James 1:5, deep repentance, 2 Cor 7:10, and strengthened by the indwelling of Christ in my heart, and learn and show Christ’s love that passes knowledge, Eph 3:16-17, 18-19, and may He do exceeding abundantly beyond ANYTHING we can ask or IMAGINE… Eph 3:20… I have a strong imagination… Do “great and mighty things I do not know,” Jer 33:3, even, “greater works than the works He did since He has gone to The Father, John 14:12.

Holy Spirit, touch her heart to swallow any pride or illusion of reputation, forgive me for "finding out" and more importantly, for bringing it up (my counselors had advised I didn't bring it up but in a moment of provocation and weakness the reality of my holding a record of wrongs was disclosed), 1 Cor 13:5. We come before the Throne of Grace to receive MERCY and GRACE for HELP in time of NEED, Heb 4:16.

Strengthen me, our Cell-Group Leaders (and members) as well our families to PRAY and INTERCEDE for REPENTANCE, HUMILITY, and RECONCILIATION — Protect our Young Child… PLEASE LET the purpose for which the KINDNESS of GOD is intended is to LEAD US to REPENTANCE, Rom 2:4.

Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water, Prov 21:1. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16. I GLADLY PREFER she and I reconcile, she finds forgiveness and is truly saved. I don't want to be a stumbling block by jealousy or any offense (laughing my vehicles were clamped lead me to accusing her of selfishness in familial relationships and bringing up [hopefully] past sins). I should have born the reproach in silence, Isa 53:7, Acts 8:32, 1 Pet 2:22-23. Forgive me and grant me another chance and this time upon a firm foundation of The Sermon on The Mount, Matt 7:24, namely, turning the other cheek, Matt 5:39.

💝 Father, in Your kindness, soften my wife and matrimonial love’s heart and renew her mind, Rom 12:2-3… (We COMMITTED to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as YOU and others, myself included, remember). Please do this for the sake of the mystery of marriage as a portrayal of Christ and His Bride, Eph 5:32, for our children, Mal 2:15, Ps 73:15, and to declare the works of the Lord, Isa 38:19, Ps 118:16-17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this earnest cry for transformation, reconciliation, and the deep work of Christ within. Your transparency about your struggles—jealousy, provocation, and the temptation to keep a record of wrongs—reveals a heart that is wrestling with the flesh while longing for the Spirit’s fruit. We rejoice that you recognize the call to emulate Christ’s silence and meekness, as Isaiah 53:7 declares, *"He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn’t open his mouth."* This is the posture of a heart surrendered to God’s refining fire.

Your desire for *"more love, more power, more of You in my life"* is a prayer God delights to answer, for it aligns with His promise in Ephesians 3:16-19: *"that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."* We join you in asking the Lord to fill you to overflowing with His love, that it may cast out all fear, jealousy, and bitterness (1 John 4:18). The power you seek is not for domination but for humility—for the strength to turn the other cheek (Matthew 5:39), to forgive as you have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and to love even when wronged (Romans 12:14).

Yet we must address the root of the conflict with soberness. Jealousy, as Proverbs 6:34 warns, is a fury that consumes like fire, and it is a snare that can destroy marriages and testimonies. Your admission of provocation and the disclosure of past wrongs—though painful—is a step toward repentance. But we must rebuke the enemy’s lie that "keeping silent" means ignoring sin. True love *"does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth"* (1 Corinthians 13:6). If there has been unfaithfulness or deception in your marriage, it must be brought into the light—not to shame, but to heal (Ephesians 5:11-13). Reconciliation cannot be built on half-truths or buried offenses. We pray for wisdom to discern when to speak and when to remain silent, always guided by love and the Holy Spirit.

Your wife’s heart is in the Lord’s hands, and we take hold of Proverbs 21:1: *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Father, we ask You to soften her heart, to convict her of any pride or hardness, and to draw her to repentance. May she see the kindness of God (Romans 2:4) and respond with humility, just as you have. We also pray for your cell group and pastors—that they would intercede with discernment, covering your family in prayer and standing in the gap for restoration. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a living picture of Christ and His Bride (Ephesians 5:32), and we declare that God’s purposes for your union will prevail. Malachi 2:15 reminds us, *"Did he not make you one, having a remnant of the Spirit? Why one? He sought godly offspring."* Your children are watching, and we pray they witness the power of forgiveness, grace, and Christlike love in action.

Above all, we rebuke the spirit of division and offense in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to use past wounds as weapons, but we declare that *"love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8). We pray for a supernatural exchange: your weakness for His strength (2 Corinthians 12:9-10), your bitterness for His peace (Colossians 3:15), and your striving for His rest (Matthew 11:28). May your home become a sanctuary where the fragrance of Christ is so strong that all who enter are drawn to Him. And if reconciliation is God’s will, may it be a testimony to His power to restore what was broken, to heal what was wounded, and to make all things new (Revelation 21:5).

Heavenly Father, we ask You to do *"exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think"* (Ephesians 3:20) in this situation. Pour out Your Spirit upon this marriage, that it may reflect Your glory. Give this brother the grace to walk in humility, to forgive freely, and to love sacrificially. Touch his wife’s heart, Lord, and lead her to repentance and restoration. Protect their child from the fallout of this conflict, and let this trial produce endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-5). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under their feet (Romans 16:20). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, dear friend, as you seek more of Christ's love, power, and presence in your life. We echo your heart's cry, "More love, more power, more of You in my life." Let us join hands in faith, believing that God will indeed answer this prayer abundantly.

We pray that Christ would be formed in you, that the fruit of the Spirit would be evident in your life, and that you would walk in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. We ask this not for our own sake, but for the sake of your marriage and family. May your home be a place where the love of Christ is tangibly experienced, and may your children see the power of forgiveness, grace, and love in action.

We also pray for your wife, that her heart would be softened and turned towards God. We ask that any pride or hardness would be convicted and replaced with humility. May she see the kindness of God and respond with a heart ready to repent and be restored. We pray for your cell group and pastors, that they would intercede with discernment and cover your family in prayer, standing in the gap for restoration.

Above all, we declare that love covers a multitude of sins, and we rebuke the spirit of division and offense in Jesus' name. We pray for a supernatural exchange - your weakness for His strength, your bitterness for His peace, and your striving for His rest. May your home become a sanctuary where the fragrance of Christ is so strong that all who enter are drawn to Him.

We ask these things in faith, believing that God is more than able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
