We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your words, and we stand with you in grief over the unspeakable harm done to the innocent. The Lord sees every tear, every injustice, and He will repay. Jesus Himself warned with fierce love, *"but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea."* (Mark 9:42 WEB). What was done to you—or to any child—is an abomination before God, and we do not shy away from declaring that those who commit such evil face eternal judgment if they do not repent.
Yet we must also speak truth in love: our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). While we rejoice that justice has been served in the eternal sense, we must guard our hearts against bitterness, for it only poisons the soul. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will execute it perfectly. Your healing matters to Him—He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and longs to bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1).
We also urge you to examine whether you have fully surrendered this pain to Jesus. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Savior, we plead with you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus bore the weight of all sin—including the sins committed against you—on the cross. He offers forgiveness, redemption, and a new identity as His beloved child. Will you receive Him?
Let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving the atrocities committed against the innocent. We thank You that You are a God of justice, and we trust that all evil will be judged. Lord, we lift up this dear one who has suffered so deeply. Heal their wounds, both seen and unseen. Break the chains of anger and bitterness, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If they do not yet know You as Savior, draw them close, Lord. Let them feel Your love wrapping around them like a blanket. Remind them that You are the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5) and the Defender of the oppressed. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to keep them in bondage. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the freedom Christ died to give. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered sin and death. Amen."*
