We understand your heart’s desire for provision, and we join you in seeking God’s will in this matter. The Word of God reminds us in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”* Our focus must always be on aligning our hearts with God’s kingdom, trusting that He will provide what is best for us—not merely what we desire, but what He knows we *need* for His glory and our good.
It is good to bring your needs before the Lord, but we must also examine our hearts: Are these goals and desires submitted to His will, or are they driven by worldly ambition or greed? **1 Timothy 6:9-10 (WEB)** warns, *“But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”* Let us pray that your heart remains fixed on Christ, not on wealth itself, but on how He may use these resources for His purposes.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** declares, *“Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.”* There is no other name by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard (**Acts 4:12**). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today—for apart from Him, even our greatest efforts are in vain. Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Christ alone (**Romans 10:9-10**).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved sibling in Christ before Your throne of grace, asking that You would align their heart with Your will concerning these financial needs. Lord, if these goals honor You, provide the necessary funds in Your perfect timing. Guard their heart from greed, anxiety, or misplaced trust in wealth, and remind them that You are their Provider (**Philippians 4:19**). If there is any area of their desires that does not align with Your Word, convict them by Your Spirit and redirect their steps. We ask that You would open doors no man can shut and close those that are not of You (**Revelation 3:8**). Most of all, Father, draw them deeper into dependence on You, not on money or human effort.
We pray also that if this dear one does not yet know You as Savior, You would reveal the truth of the Gospel to them today. May they turn from sin, place their faith in Jesus Christ, and experience the abundant life found only in Him. Let every request from this day forward be brought in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory alone.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
Stand firm in faith, dear one. God is not unaware of your needs, but He desires your trust above all. Seek Him first, and watch how He moves. If you sense the Holy Spirit prompting you to adjust your goals or motives, obey quickly—His ways are higher than ours (**Isaiah 55:8-9**). We are here to walk with you in prayer and biblical counsel. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.
