God please bless and heal my mom. She is battling cancer and needs your light. Shine her body with healing white light and rid her of this cancer. Let her feel good and healthy and strong to take care her family, disabled son and her new granddaughter ###

We join you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking God for His healing mercy upon her as she battles cancer. We understand how heavy this burden is, especially as she longs to be strong to care for her family, her disabled son, and her new granddaughter, and we bring all of them before the Lord with you.

We want to gently speak to something in your request with love and truth. You asked God to shine healing white light upon her body. We know your heart is to see her healed, but the Bible does not teach that healing comes from an impersonal white light or energy. Healing comes from a personal, holy God who is Himself light and who heals according to His will and power. As it is written, God is light, and in him is no darkness at all 1 John 1:5 and Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17. His light is not a force we direct, but His holy presence and power revealed through Jesus Christ. We pray not to a light, but to the Lord who created light and who alone can restore the body.

We also noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to share why that is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we can be saved and have our prayers heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And scripture also says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. That is why we always pray in the name of Jesus, trusting in His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection for our forgiveness and our access to God. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe on Him, confess your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life.

We take comfort in what God says about healing. He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We also cling to But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We do not know all of God's perfect will in this illness, but we know He is compassionate, He hears, and He is able.

So we pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that through Him we can boldly approach Your throne. We lift up this dear mother to You and ask for Your healing hand upon her body. Lord, You know the cancer that afflicts her, You know every cell, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask that if it be Your will, You would rid her body of this disease, restore her strength, ease her pain, and let her feel good and healthy again. Touch her with Your power, grant wisdom to her doctors and caregivers, and give her peace that passes all understanding. We also pray for her family, for her disabled son who needs her care, and for her new granddaughter, that You would surround this whole family with Your comfort and provision. Strengthen their faith, sustain them when they are weary, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and You heal those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 147:3. We ask that this trial would draw each of them closer to Jesus and that Your name would be glorified in her life, whether through healing or through the grace to endure. We trust her into Your loving hands and pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cry out to Jesus daily for her, to read His word over her, and to trust Him with the outcome. Continue to seek good medical care while trusting that the Lord is the ultimate physician who says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. He also says Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Keep bringing your mother and your family before Him, and keep resting in the love of Christ who carries you through this valley.

Praying amen 🙏🏻

We were deeply moved by your request for your mom. The love you have for her comes through so clearly, and we can hear how much she means to your family as she cares for your disabled son and cherishes her new granddaughter. Facing cancer is exhausting and uncertain, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

We know you long for her to feel well and strong again, and it is a lot to carry as you support her. We encourage you to stay closely connected with her doctors and care team and to bring any changes or concerns to them quickly so they can guide her comfort and care. It can also help to keep a small notebook with questions and updates for appointments so those visits feel less overwhelming. And if you are able, let a trusted friend, pastor, or other family member share some of the practical load, whether meals, rides, or time with family, so both you and your mom have more room to rest. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift this dear mom to You and ask for Your mercy and healing according to Your will. Please give her strength for each day, ease what hurts, and grant wisdom to those caring for her. Comfort her as she worries about her family, uphold her son and her granddaughter, and surround all of you with Your peace and nearness. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for your mother has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace in this time of great trial. To see one so dear to you battling cancer, and feeling the weight of caring for family, a disabled son and a new granddaughter, is a burden that would cause the strongest heart to faint, for human strength, even at its best, will spend itself and utterly fail.

But the word of the Lord gives a sure hope to those who feel their own weakness. It is written, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. All strength of every sort comes from God, and the glory of our strength lies in Him alone. When there remains no strength in us, nor any ability of any kind, then we are to fling ourselves upon the divine strength and lay hold upon it. He has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and that promise will be assuredly performed. To those who have no might He increases strength, and when all our own strength fails us, our strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes our arm every morning.

You asked for healing light to shine upon her body. We understand the longing behind those words, yet we would point you to the true light and the true healing which the Scripture reveals. Not a white light of human thought, but the Sun of Righteousness who has risen with healing in His wings, even Jesus Christ our Lord. In Him there is an abundance of healing power, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the work of Jesus our heavenly Physician is to apply the remedy.

The Scripture also places healing and pardon in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said first, Thy sins are forgiven thee, and then bade him rise and walk. Healing and forgiveness are bestowed together upon the Lord's people. Many a child of God when weary has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, who art the Author of all being and the glory of our strength, we bring this dear mother before Thee. Thou knowest her frame, Thou seest the cancer that afflicts her, and Thou knowest her love for her family. We ask Thee to lay Thy hand upon her as Thou didst lay Thy hand upon Peter's wife's mother and lift her up from her fever. If it be Thy will, restore her body, ease her pain, and renew her strength that she may again rise and serve those Thou hast given to her care. Grant to her physicians wisdom, to her family comfort, and to her own soul the peace that comes from knowing Christ. Above all, let her and those who love her wait upon Thee, trusting not in ceremonies or in any power of our own, but in Christ who died for the ungodly. Let her find that to be strengthened in the Lord is of all things most desirable, and that Thou Thyself wilt infuse strength wisely and fitly according to Thy perfect will. Hear our prayer for her disabled son and for her new granddaughter, and keep this whole household in Thy tender care. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour and great Physician. Amen.

Continue to wait upon the Lord, to hear His word and to trust His mercy. He binds up the broken hearted and with bands of grace He will bind up every wound according to His loving purpose.

May Father God bless and heal their mother as she battles cancer. May His healing light shine through her body, rid her of this disease, and restore her strength to care for her family, her disabled son, and her new granddaughter, in Jesus' name, amen.
