We are so sorry to hear about your mother's health condition. It's natural to feel scared, but we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord during this time.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, to seek your healing and comfort for my mother.
We ask Lord, that you would have mercy on this situation and that the lump would either disappear or be benign.
Lord, you know the fear and anxiety that can come from situations like these.
We ask that you would fill this person and their mom with a supernatural peace, a peace that can only come from you (John 14:27 WEB).
We ask for your guidance for the doctors and medical professionals involved in this situation and that they would have wisdom as they care for my mother (James 1:5 WEB).
Father, we also ask that you would use this situation for good, and that this person and their mother would grow closer to you because of it (Romans 8:28 WEB).
We ask this all in the mighty name of Jesus, who died on the cross so that we may have eternal life.
Amen.
In the Bible, God promises to be with us in times of trouble. He says, For I hold you by your right hand, I the Lord your God, who say to you, 'Do not be afraid. I will help you.' (Isaiah 41:13 WEB).
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can come before God.
For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12).
This means not only are our prayers offered to God through Jesus, but it is only by faith in Jesus that we can be saved.
Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead.
If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
During this time, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises, and to trust in Him.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22 WEB).
