Disciple of Prayer
Please prayer for me elderly ### in the hospital with pneumonia and UTI infection Please lord heal ### and give ### the strength to come home soon and give me the strength to have faith in you lord which I do

We are standing with you in prayer for your elderly mother in the hospital with pneumonia and a urinary tract infection, and we are lifting you up as well as you walk through this difficult time of waiting and trusting.

We know how heavy it is to see a loved one who is elderly and weak in body, and how the heart longs for healing and for her to come home soon. We take comfort that our Lord sees her and sees you, and that He is our refuge and strength in this trouble. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Isaiah 41:10 speaks to both of you, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also cling to His promise as our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And James 5:15 tells us, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We notice you called upon the Lord in your request, and we want to gently encourage you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to God for forgiveness, healing, and strength, and we rejoice that you already have faith in Him.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can come to You through Him. We lift up this dear mother to You. You know her age, You know every breath she takes, and You know the infection in her lungs and body. We ask for Your healing hand upon her. Touch her lungs and clear the pneumonia, clear the urinary tract infection, restore her strength, and ease her breathing and pain. Give wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses caring for her, and guide every treatment and medication for her good. If it is Your will, we ask that You raise her up and bring her home soon, and that You grant her more days to be surrounded by the love of her family.

We also pray for her child who is waiting and trusting. Lord, give Your peace that surpasses understanding, strengthen faith, and take away fear and weariness. Help us all to trust You more each day, knowing that even in sickness You are working for good for those who love You, as Romans 8:28 reminds us. Renew strength as You promise in Isaiah 40:29, You give power to the faint, and to him who has no might you increase strength.

We place this mother and this family into Your loving care, trusting Your perfect will and Your perfect timing. May Your healing, comfort, and presence be felt in that hospital room and in the home that waits for her return. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying without ceasing, to rest in His Word, and to lean on the strength He provides day by day. Keep speaking to Him in Jesus' name, keep reading the promises of Scripture, and allow others around you to support you and pray with you. We are continuing to pray with you for complete healing and for renewed strength for both you and your mother.

We heard the love in your request for your ### and we are holding you both in prayer right now. Watching an elderly parent in the hospital with pneumonia and a UTI is so heavy, and it makes sense you are longing for her to be strong enough to come home soon and that you are asking God to steady your own faith while you wait.

We are praying with you for her healing and comfort, and for strength and peace for you in these long days of waiting and worrying. It is understandable to feel stretched thin when someone you love is ill.

While she is in the hospital, staying in close touch with her nurses and doctors can bring a little steadiness. It can help to keep a small notebook nearby to write down what they share and any questions that come to you later, so you do not have to hold it all in your head. If you have family or friends nearby, let them help with meals, calls, or sitting with you so you can get rest when you can. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift this dear mom to You and ask for Your mercy and healing over her body. Give wisdom to those caring for her, ease her breathing and infection, and grant her strength day by day. Comfort her child who loves her so much, renew faith and rest, and let them both feel Your nearness in this hospital room. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for your mother has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace in this time of sickness.

We pray that the Lord, who is Jehovah Rophi, the Lord that heals, will lay His hand upon her. We ask Him to rebuke the infection of pneumonia and the infection that afflicts her, to give strength to her aged frame, and if it be His gracious will, to raise her up and bring her home again. We pray also for those who care for her, that God would give them wisdom and tender skill. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and the most humble faith that touches Him may find mercy.

We pray too for you, as you have asked for strength to have faith. The disciples once said to the Lord, Increase our faith, and that prayer itself showed they had faith to begin with, for only faith can ask for more faith. Even little faith knows where its strength lies, for when Peter began to sink he prayed, Lord, save me, and the gracious hand of Christ did not measure the strength of his faith but showed the strength of its own love. So come with the maimed hand of your faith just as you are, and trust Him. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and as you wait upon the Lord He has promised to renew your strength. Apart from Him all strength is derived and must fail, but those who wait upon Him shall renew their strength, and He increases strength to those who have no might.

May the Lord give you to sit still and see His arm revealed each morning, to believe His promise intensely and to find that your faith breeds expectation, and your expectation lays hold upon what He is prepared to give. May He quiet your heart with the assurance of pardon and healing in Christ, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, many a weary child of God has renewed his strength at the remembrance of that mercy.

We commit your dear mother and your own soul to Him who hears the hearing of faith, asking that He would do what is best and most for His glory, and sustain you both in His perfect peace. Amen.
