Mom having CT scan

We join you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace as she has this CT scan and continues her chemotherapy, and we thank you for coming to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us.
We know how heavy this waiting can feel, and we are holding your mother and you together in prayer for good news, for strength, and for peace that surpasses understanding. Scripture reminds us of the Lord's compassion and power to heal, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We cling also to His promise to be near in fear and uncertainty, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And we remember In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
Together we pray, Father in heaven, we bring this dear mother to You and ask for Your mercy and healing hand upon her. We ask that You would guide the hands and eyes of her medical team and that this CT scan would show that the cancer is responding to treatment and shrinking. We pray that You would allow her to continue to tolerate her chemotherapy well, with minimal side effects, with strength for her body and peace for her mind. We ask that You would sustain her appetite, her energy, and her spirit, and surround her with Your comfort and presence each day. We also lift up her child who loves her so deeply, grant calm in this time of waiting, and help them both to trust in Your perfect will and unfailing love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We pray for complete healing if it be Your will, and for Your grace to carry them through whatever the results show. We ask all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Your prayer for your mother has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. It is a tender and holy thing to watch over a mother in affliction, and to bring her case to the great Physician who alone can heal.
You do well to cast this burden upon the Lord, for anxiety itself will not bring comfort nor add any strength for the trial. Our Saviour would have us be prudent and prayerful, but not fretful and fearful, for worry unfits us to meet difficulty while faith fits us to endure it. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and Calvary is the place of the healing balm. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and where He pardons He also heals according to His wise and merciful will.
We pray that the Lord will be gracious to your dear mother. May He guide the hands and eyes of those who read the scan, may He cause the treatment to prosper toward health if it be His good pleasure, and may He grant her strength to bear the chemotherapy with patience and with as little suffering as may be. Above all we ask that she may feel the hand of Christ taking her by the hand and lifting her up, that whether in much strength or in much weakness she may know His presence, His pardon and His peace.
We commend her body and soul to Him who has borne our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, trusting not in our prayers but in His abundant mercy. May the Lord comfort you also as you wait, and keep your heart stayed upon Him who worketh all things for good to them that love Him.
