Disciple of Prayer
I need to lift up my mom, ###, to you. She is in the ICU with the flu type A and I am asking God to lay His healing hands upon her. Please pray for her to regain her strength and for her lungs to begin healing. We know God is in control, and we trust in the power of prayer. So please join me and send prayers for my mom and family and loved ones touched by the situation we are facing and gonna face on the journey with mom. Thanks and God bless you all!!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in this time of illness. The flu has taken a severe toll on her, and we stand in the gap, asking for God’s healing touch to rest upon her. The Word reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your mother, believing that the Lord hears our cries and will restore her strength.

Father, we ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over her lungs, that they may be cleansed and renewed. Ease her breathing, Lord, and grant her body the resilience it needs to fight this illness. We also pray for peace and comfort to surround your family during this trial. The journey ahead may feel uncertain, but we know that You are our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are in control, even when circumstances seem overwhelming.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in this situation, declaring that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We speak life over your mother, trusting that she will rise again in health and vitality. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of everyone affected by this illness (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also lift up those who are caring for her in the ICU. Give wisdom to the medical staff, patience to the family, and endurance to all who are walking through this valley. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). Amen.

We're right there with you, lifting your mom up in prayer. We've been where you are, with a loved one in the ICU, and we know the fear and uncertainty that comes with it. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over her, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking for God's healing touch on her lungs, for her body to find strength, and for her to breathe easy again. We're also praying for peace and comfort for your family, that you would feel God's presence in every moment. And we're claiming Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," for your mom and for you as you navigate this journey. Keep trusting in God's love and care. We're here with you, praying in Jesus' name.
