Misunderstanding

I have a church mother that I love and took as my mother. She is ninetyone years old and gets around and does things for herself. I noticed her in church several Sundays; and she didn't look well. She also appeared to have lost weight; which caused me to be concerned. We don't visit or anything other than church; so I thought that I should give her a call and check on her. When I did, she got angry in the worst way and thought that I was criticizing her. She told me that she didn't need my attention that; she had nieces and nephews that had all of that covered. Then she wouldn't allow me to explain further, and hung up on me. The next evening I thought I should give her another call to see if she was still upset with me. She said "I don't see why not, you said that I looked bad and a few more things. I tried once again to explain; and she slammed the phone down on me again. I felt so very bad that she would think that way about my trying to be concerned. It has been tripple digits here for eighteen days here; and I didn't want her to stay out in that heat for too long. She is a degreed woman and looks good. In no way was my intent to take anything away from her. I thought she would appreciate my concern since I was her church daughter.

I felt so bad and just couldn't sleep. Please help me pray that My God would soften her heart and give her the correct understanding. It bothers me when someone is angry or upset with me. I respect old people and cherish them. She just wouldn't here anything I had to say in the way of explaination. Just pray. Just Pray.

Dear Jesus I stand before you with Tricia, we beg you Lord that you touch this poor woman and soften her heart. She is scared MY Lord, she is scared of being alone, she is afraid of being lover and cared for. Pull her armour down, she does not need it with Tricia, all she needs is to let herself be cared for and loved. Dear Jesus give her peace and calm, faith and hope in you and your word, she is far from your love and light. Bring her close Lord, she needs a little touch of mercy and nderstanding from your generous heart. Thank you Jesus in you we trust.
