Miracles

We hear your heart crying out for miracles in this overwhelming season and we stand with you together before the throne of grace to seek our Father's help in Jesus' name.

We know what it is to feel buried under needs that seem far greater than our strength, but we serve a God who is not overwhelmed and who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20. Nothing is too hard for Him, for He declares Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me Jeremiah 32:27.

We want to gently share with you that you came to God asking for miracles but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to believe in your heart that He died for your sins and rose again and to confess Him as Lord, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13. It is through Jesus' shed blood that our prayers are heard.

When the burden feels too heavy, God invites us to bring it to Him. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I Psalm 61:2.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is feeling extremely overwhelmed and in need of many miracles. Lord, You see every need, every bill, every burden, every fear that is weighing heavily right now. We ask You to show Yourself mighty and merciful, to provide where there seems to be no way, to make a way where there is no way, and to give wisdom and strength for each step. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to cast every care on You, trusting that You care deeply for them. Remind them that You are near to those who are brokenhearted and You hear the cry of the righteous and deliver them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17-18. Lead them to the Rock that is higher than they are, and let them experience Your power working on their behalf. If they have not yet called upon Jesus for salvation, draw them to Him today that they may know the assurance of being Your child. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to tell Him specifically each need you have, and to thank Him by faith even before you see the answer, trusting that He is faithful and that He will sustain you through this overwhelming time.

We hear how overwhelming things feel right now and how much you are carrying. Needing a lot of miracles at once can leave anyone feeling stretched thin and unsure where to start, and it makes sense you would bring that honestly to God.

We are praying for you and we want to stay with you in this. When everything feels urgent at once, it can sometimes help to gently name what feels heaviest today, even just one or two most pressing needs, and bring those specifically to the Lord and to one trusted person who can walk with you. If you have a pastor, counselor, or trusted friend, consider letting them know you are feeling overwhelmed so you do not carry this alone. If anxiety or lack of sleep or other physical strain is making it hard to get through the day, please consider reaching out to a medical professional or counselor as well, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this need to You in Jesus name. You see every detail that feels overwhelming and You know what is needed most. We ask for Your wisdom, Your provision, and Your peace to guard this heart. Give clear next steps and bring supportive people close. Help our friend to rest in Your care today. In Jesus name, amen.

When the spirit is overwhelmed and needs rise like a flood, it is no small mercy to be able to pour out the heart before the Lord. I have heard your cry for miracles, and I take it to the throne of grace with you.

You speak of being extremely overwhelmed. David knew that place well, for he said, I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Yet the same David could say, O God, You have taught me from my youth, and until this time have I declared Your wondrous works. He was chastened, but he was never cast out, he still continued as God's pupil. So the Lord deals with His own. He puts object lessons before us, He lets us feel our weakness, that we may learn to read His work and wonder at it.

Remember that the mercies of God are innumerable. As the Psalmist says, I know not the numbers thereof. Your sins, though many, are all forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, which cleanses us from all sin, and every forgiveness is a mercy, and every breath and every daily provision is a mercy, and they come to you by way of the Cross and bear the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon them. If you have never come beneath that Cross, hear this tender word, that if you come trustingly and look up to God's dear Son, you shall be saved, for there is salvation in Him alone.

Providence may seem like wheels within wheels, intricate and mysterious, yet the axle of the wheel never moves. It is the everlasting love of God toward His covenant people. The exterior may turn and change, but the center stands forever fixed. In the battle God's eyes are looking through the smoke, and in all the confusions of life His hands are managing all things. Other things may move, but His love never moves. Let this be your stay when you cannot trace His way.

God's tender mercy meets you even now. The Gospel does not say tomorrow, but behold, now is the accepted time. It does not ask great works of you, but that you trust Him. He pities His children as a father pities his children, and He has given commandment to save those who trust Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord our Father, whose pity toward Your children is as a father's pity, look upon this overwhelmed soul. You know the number of needs and the weight of cares. You have commanded deliverance for Your people, and we ask You to command help in this hour. Grant what is needed according to Your infinite wisdom, whether by miracle or by Your ordinary providence which is itself full of miracles. Give strength for the day, peace that passes understanding, and faith to see Your wondrous works even in this trial. Teach this soul to trust You more fully, to count Your mercies, and to declare Your faithfulness. Keep this one as Your hidden one, safe under Your hand, and perfect that which concerns him, for Christ's sake. Amen.

Be not afraid to keep telling the Lord all that overwhelms you, and take opportunity, even now, to declare His wondrous works with pen or voice, for He who has taught you hitherto will not put you to shame.
