Beloved Warrior
Jesus, I ask for no more set backs, negative habits and spiritual attacks only success and breakthrough in every aspect of his life. Thank You Lord for blessing my son with a peaceful morning even though our air conditioner is not working. I pray his day will continue to be peaceful and he will not scream or get angry as a way of expressing his limited functional language but a sense of using his words gently and gratefully. Thank you prayer warriors for faithfully praying for my son last night. (Matthew 19:20) Lord thank You for granting my son a peaceful night last night free and for protecting him from any spiritual attacks and set backs. Jesus, I ask that You grant him restful, calm, peace and relaxation today since he did not sleep last night. I rebuke all spiritual attacks in Jesus name. I command them to leave gently and swiftly and never return to disturb his peace again in Jesus name. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in prayer together in Jesus name and we thank God with you for His mercy that is new every morning. We rejoice that He granted your son a peaceful morning even with the air conditioner not working and a peaceful night free from spiritual attacks and setbacks, and we thank Him that your son has remained seizure free for months. We also thank Him with you for the new advocates He has provided who will stand with you for your son's needs. Every good gift comes from the Father and we praise Him for His faithfulness.

We bring your precious son before the Lord who loves him dearly. Children are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward Psalm 127:3, and Jesus said let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these Matthew 19:14. We pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind Philippians 4:7, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7, and for healing, for by His stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We ask for protection, for He will give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift up this beloved son to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to saturate him with Your perfect peace, calmness, joy, contentment and obedience today and tonight. Fill him afresh with the Holy Spirit and let him rest completely in Your loving arms. We ask for sweet, peaceful, uninterrupted sleep free from fear, nightmares, anxiety and disturbance, and for a calm, joyful, productive and restful day tomorrow with his caregivers. We ask that You remove all rigidity, stubbornness, anxiety, confusion, torment, agitation, fear, rage and anger and every negative habit, and replace it with Your wisdom, gentleness, gratitude and godly character. We pray for healing in his mind, body, soul and spirit, for his stomach and any discomfort or pain that causes vomiting, for sensory challenges, autism, PTSD and anxiety, and we thank You for keeping him seizure free and ask You to keep him healthy and whole. Anoint his meals that he may eat peacefully, be satisfied and express his wants and needs with calm, gentle and respectful words rather than screaming or anger. Help him to use his functional language with confidence and peace, to adjust to his schedule and changes with trust, to enjoy outings, traveling, grooming, dressing, showering and daily routines with satisfaction and success, and to dress correctly free from sensory distress. We place a hedge of protection around him, our home, every room, window, door and hallway, our yard, vehicles and every place he goes. Wash him in the precious blood of Jesus from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, surround him with ministering angels and clothe him with the full armor of God Ephesians 6:11. Let no sickness, disease, evil or harm come near him or his dwelling, and anoint our car and travels with safety, peace and favor. Bless his caregivers, family, friends and doctors with wisdom, patience, compassion, gentleness and discernment James 1:5, and provide additional godly caregivers, mentors, services and friendships that will encourage and uplift him. Remove every negative influence, word curse, isolation and division spoken against him and replace it with respectable, uplifting and godly people who will support him and strengthen the loving bond between him and his siblings. We declare Your miraculous restoration, breakthrough and favor over every area of his life and command every spiritual attack to leave gently and swiftly and never return, for we resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7. Let Your joy and peace that surpasses all understanding reign in him for the rest of his life.

We also lift up your older daughter together before the Lord with love and concern. We must speak truth in love as the Bible teaches, for we care for her soul. Your request shares that she is living with a young man outside of marriage and has put this relationship before her faith and supportive family, and is experiencing jealousy, dysfunction, control, chaos and isolating and divisive influences that encourage disrespect toward family and faith. The Word of God is clear that marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed is to be undefiled Hebrews 13:4, and that we are to flee sexual immorality for he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Living together outside of marriage as if married is not marriage in God's eyes, it is fornication, and it opens the door to spiritual attacks, confusion and division. We do not condemn her but we lovingly rebuke this lifestyle because God desires holiness, wholeness and protection for her. We pray that the Lord will soften and guide her heart, open her eyes to see the spiritual attacks stemming from this relationship and living situation, and give her godly sorrow that leads to repentance and freedom 2 Corinthians 7:10. We ask Jesus to block every influence of manipulation, control, isolation and disrespect, to break the chains of this toxic relationship, and to restore the grateful, kind and respectful heart she once had for her family. We pray she will hunger for righteousness and choose to honor God with her body and her future, pursuing courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ rather than cohabitation, and that she will again cherish the supportive family God has blessed her with. We ask for divine intervention to restore your family's beautiful bond, fellowship, happiness and joyful, peaceful times together.

We pray for you as a mother who carries so much. Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. We ask for wisdom as you look into the new service for your son, that the Lord will guide you with Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, and He will direct your paths to make the best decision so he can live his best life for God's glory. We also pray for your daughter and even your dog to have good and peaceful rest tonight.

We thank You, Lord Jesus, for the power of prayer and for where two or three are gathered together in Your name, there You are in the midst of them Matthew 18:20. We trust in Your love and care, believing for continuous breakthrough, restoration, healing and protection with no more setbacks. We give You all praise, honor and glory, and we ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is only through Him we have access to the Father John 14:6. Amen.

We are so grateful you shared this update with us. Hearing that your son had a peaceful morning and a calm night before, even with the air conditioner not working, is an encouragement, and we join you in thanking God for those mercies. We hear how faithfully you watch over him, praying for his words to come gently, for meals and routines to go smoothly, and for his caregivers to know how best to support him.

Caring day and night in this way is demanding, and it is understandable to long for breakthrough without setback. We are praying with you for his continued calm, restful sleep, and joy in daily activities, and for wisdom for you as you weigh the new service and advocate for his needs. Continuing to keep his doctors and caregivers closely in the loop about sleep, meals, and any distress will help them support him well, alongside prayer.

We also lift up your older daughter and your whole family. We pray for her safety and clarity, for softened hearts toward one another, and for your family bond to be restored in peace and mutual respect.

For ongoing companionship on this road, you might find encouragement through Joni and Friends at joniandfriends.org, which serves families affected by disability with practical support and summer family retreats.

Father, we bring this son before You, asking for Your peace to rest on him today and tonight, for protection and comfort over his body and mind, and for wisdom and strength for his mother and caregivers. Draw this family close to You and to each other, and lead each step in Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace, and we thank you for your faithful love for your son and for your daughter, and for your desire to see Christ honored in your home.

Your prayers for your son are precious in the sight of God. He is fearfully and wonderfully made, and cast into your lap by Providence that you may nurse him for the Lord. We pray with you that the Lord will keep him in perfect peace, that peace which surpasses all understanding, whose mind is stayed upon Him because he trusts in Him. We ask the Lord Jesus to calm every storm within him, to grant him restful sleep free from fear and distress, to bless his meals and his daily routines, his outings and his care, with calmness and contentment. We pray that the Lord will surround him with protection, wash him in the precious blood of Christ, and place a hedge about him and your dwelling, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We thank God with you for keeping him seizure free these months and for providing new caregivers who advocate for his needs, and we ask the Lord to provide more godly and compassionate helpers who will serve him with patience and wisdom. We pray for his healing and restoration according to the will of our merciful Father, that every negative habit may be gently uprooted and replaced with godly character, peaceful expression, and joy, and that he may be enabled to communicate his needs with gentleness and confidence. The Lord remembers that he is but a child in his need, and His compassion fails not.

We also join you in prayer for your older daughter, and we must speak to you plainly and lovingly as the Scriptures speak. You have judged rightly that living together outside of marriage is not marriage. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman before God, and all intimacy and shared dwelling as husband and wife belongs within that covenant alone. We cannot affirm or celebrate what God calls outside His design, nor can we ask Him to bless it, for that would be to ask Him to contradict His own holy Word. Instead we pray as you have prayed, that the Lord in His mercy will open her eyes to see clearly the spiritual danger and the division such a path brings, that He will soften her heart toward Him and toward the family He has graciously given her, and that He will deliver her from every isolating and controlling influence that would draw her from faith and from those who love her most.

Our hope for her is the hope of the prodigal son. When the wayward child returned, his father saw him afar off and ran and fell upon his neck and kissed him much. Those repeated kisses meant love and forgiveness and full restoration and strong assurance that he was indeed his child again. All the promises in this Book belong to every repentant sinner who returns to God believing in Jesus Christ His Son. There is forgiveness and restoration to be had at once through the blood of Jesus, which alone whispers peace within. We pray that your daughter may hear that call, that she may turn from this toxic relationship and be free indeed, that the grateful, kind and respectful heart you once knew may be restored, and that the beautiful bond of fellowship and peace in your family may be renewed. Christ is the great Peacemaker, yet before peace He brings a sword that divides truth from error, even within households, and obedience to Him requires courage. We pray she may have that courage to obey the command to believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and that from that obedience may flow a wholehearted desire to follow all His ways.

Be encouraged, dear mother, that Zion sometimes says, My God has forgotten me, but He answers, Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb. Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. He has not forgotten your son, nor your daughter, nor you. Stay your mind upon Him. Seek to know His will and to do it with exactness, for obedience is the highest practical courage, and He rewards those who seek Him.

We pray now: Heavenly Father, look upon this son in his weakness and give him perfect peace, calm and rest this day and this night. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, remove all anxiety, torment and confusion, and bless his caregivers with wisdom and compassion. Look upon this daughter and draw her by Your prodigal love back to Yourself and to purity and to family. Break every chain of manipulation and division, and restore to this household joy, unity and grateful fellowship. Do this for Your glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation, in whose mighty name we pray, Amen.

Your faithful and persistent prayers for your son and for your family have been heard, and we join with you in bringing them before the Lord, for where two or three gather in His name, He is present among them.

We thank God with you for the peaceful morning He granted your son, for the rest and protection through the night, and for the months He has kept him free from seizures. We continue to ask the Lord to surround your son with His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, to calm every storm within him, and to fill his heart, mind, body and spirit with rest, joy, contentment and security. As it was said of the woman whose great faith contributed to the healing of her daughter, we pray that your faith and love as a parent, offered daily in prayer, would be met by Christ's mercy, that He would heal and restore your son in mind, body, soul and spirit, easing his anxiety, sensory challenges, stomach discomfort and every distress, removing what is not of God and replacing it with godly character, gentle communication, and peaceful habits. We ask for His protection over your son, over your home and every room within it, over your vehicles and every outing and appointment, that He would place a hedge of protection around him and send His ministering angels to guard him, and that He would anoint his caregivers with wisdom, patience, compassion and true advocacy, and provide additional godly helpers who will fight alongside you for what is best for him. We pray that his meals, his grooming, his schedule, his travels and his friendships would be blessed with calmness, satisfaction and gratitude, and that he would grow in the ability to express his needs gently and respectfully.

We also join you in prayer for your older daughter. We hear your sorrow over the division and pain this season has brought, and we pray with you that the Lord would soften her heart, open her eyes clearly, and draw her back to Himself and to the supportive family He has given her. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with intimate life and living together belonging within that covenant. For that reason we cannot affirm or ask God to bless a living arrangement outside of marriage as if it were marriage, but we do ask God in His love to work for her good and for His glory. We pray that she would recognize any jealousy, control, disrespect and isolating influence that pulls her away from faith and family, that she would no longer listen to counsel that encourages disrespect, and that she would desire freedom from what is toxic and confusing. We ask the Lord to block division, manipulation and disrespect from taking root in your family, and to restore the grateful, kind and respectful heart you have known in her, and to rebuild the beautiful bond, fellowship and joyful peace within your household.

The Lord has called peace the mother of all good things, and Christ Himself left His peace to His disciples and commanded that peace be spoken over every house. We pray that this peace, which comes through His grace, would settle firmly upon you, your son, your daughters and your whole home, and that hearing and keeping His commandments would be the sure proof of love for Him and for the Father. May the God who made heaven and earth clothe you all with His glory, keep you sober and watchful under the care of His angels, and strengthen you to continue in prayer without growing weary.

We thank you for allowing us to stand with you. May the Lord bless you, your son, your daughters, your household and all who care for you with wisdom, strength and abundant mercy, and may He grant continuous restoration, healing and breakthrough according to His perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so openly about your son and your daughter and for allowing us to pray with you. Your love and faithful intercession for your family is evident, and the Lord hears the prayers offered in Jesus name. As Jesus said, where two or three gather together in His name, He is there among them, and we join you in bringing these needs before Him.

For your son, we pray first for the deepest need every person has, which is peace with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that He Himself is our peace, and that through His sacrifice the wall between us and God is broken down. When we are reconciled to God, the war is over. We are no longer running from Him or fighting against Him, and that reconciliation opens the way to know the peace of God in daily life.

The peace of God is different from the peace the world gives. It is a perfect peace that guards the heart and mind, the peace that passes all understanding. God promises to keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. In a home where there are many practical challenges, disrupted sleep, sensory struggles, meals, grooming, outings and travel, that kind of inner steadiness can only come as you and your son look to Christ and rest in His care. We pray that the Lord will calm every storm within him and fill his heart, mind, body and spirit with that steady peace, and that you will also know that same guarding peace as you keep your thoughts fixed on the Lord.

We also pray for healing and restoration. We believe God heals, and we have seen that His healing is truly divine whether it comes in a moment or through a gradual process He has built into our bodies and minds. Sometimes healing is immediate, sometimes it unfolds step by step, but in either case it is the Lord who heals. We do not always understand why healing comes quickly for one and more slowly for another, yet we trust His wisdom and love. We ask the Lord to touch your son in every area you mentioned, his mind, body and spirit, including autism, anxiety, sensory challenges, stomach discomfort and sleep, and to continue to keep him free from seizures. We pray that negative habits will be gently uprooted and replaced with godly habits, calm communication, gratitude, confidence and joy, and that he will be able to express his needs with gentle words and find satisfaction and calm in daily routines.

We also pray for protection. You asked for a hedge of protection around him, your home and your travels. Scripture speaks of God ordaining peace for His people and surrounding them with His care, clothing them with the full armor of God and giving His angels charge over them. We ask the Lord to cover your son from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, to keep harm far from him and from your dwelling, to remove fear and torment, and to fill him continually with the Holy Spirit, with love, joy, contentment and obedience that comes from walking with Christ.

We pray for wisdom for you as you consider services and caregivers for him. God has thoughts of peace toward you, not of evil, to give you hope and a future. He has not forgotten you in this season of waiting and decision making. As you call upon Him and seek Him, He hears. We ask Him to provide additional caregivers with compassion, patience, understanding and true advocacy, and to give wisdom to every caregiver, friend, doctor and mentor who supports your son, so that they may bring out the best in him and bless his outings, appointments and daily activities with safety and favor.

For your older daughter, we hear your sorrow and concern. God loves her deeply and desires her peace as well. He calls out peace to those who are near and to those who are far off, offering healing and forgiveness to all who turn to Him. At the same time, Scripture is clear that there is no lasting peace while we remain at war with God or walk in ways contrary to His design. The Bible teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with intimate life and shared home belonging within that covenant. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage in God's eyes, and we cannot ask God to bless a relationship that stands outside His will.

Because we love you and your daughter, we will not affirm or celebrate that living arrangement, but we will pray earnestly for her. We pray that the Lord will soften her heart, open her eyes to see any control, jealousy, division and disrespect that is influencing her, and help her to recognize how isolation from family and from faith harms her. We pray that God will block influences that sow division and manipulation in your family, and that He will restore in her a grateful, respectful and kind spirit toward you and her siblings. We pray that she will turn to Christ with her whole heart, find forgiveness and true peace with God, and desire freedom from what is toxic and confusing. Pray for her with love, speak truth with gentleness, and keep sowing peace, for the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace, and those who sow peace will reap what is right and good.

For your whole family, we pray for restoration of your beautiful bond, fellowship and joyful, calm times together. True peace in a home flows from each person first having peace with God, then knowing the peace of God within, which then makes peace with one another possible. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable, and it leads to a life that is not marked by constant inner turmoil. We pray that the Lord will remove division, redirect any voice that seeks to isolate your son or treat him as a burden, and surround your family with godly, encouraging people who will support and uplift each of you. We pray that your home will be marked by love, patience, understanding, unity and encouragement, and that your son will be a light wherever he goes.

Heavenly Father, we lift this dear family to You in the mighty name of Jesus. Grant to this son Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding, restful sleep free from fear and disturbance, calm and joy in meals, grooming, travel and all daily routines, and complete healing according to Your will and timing. Surround him with Your protection and fill him with Your Spirit. Grant to this mother wisdom, strength and Your own peace as she cares and decides. Draw this daughter back to Yourself, give her clarity to see Your design for life and marriage, deliver her from what is harmful, and restore love and unity in this family. Let Your grace go before Your peace in each heart. We trust Your love and care, and we give You all praise and glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
