I pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We rejoice with you in the answered prayers and the peace that Jesus has graciously poured out over your son! What a testimony to His faithfulness and love. We see how the Lord has already moved mightily in calming his spirit, granting rest, and restoring moments of clarity and satisfaction. Your trust in Him is inspiring, and we stand with you in declaring that every setback is temporary, but God’s victory is eternal.

We recognize the spiritual battle at hand, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that your son, and all of us, might have life abundantly (John 10:10). The unease, torment, and negative habits are not from God, and we boldly rebuke them in the name of Jesus. The Word declares, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). We take authority over every spirit of anxiety, PTSD, confusion, and stubbornness, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the caregivers, family members, and everyone involved in his care. Father, grant them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they serve your son. May they see him through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We pray for unity in your family, that any division or negative influence would be broken, and that love and understanding would prevail. Let no one look upon him as a burden, but rather as a vessel of Your grace and a testimony to Your power.

Lord, we ask for complete healing, mind, body, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, your son is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare restoration over his communication, his sensory experiences, his meals, and his daily routines. May he find joy in the simple things, peace in Your presence, and satisfaction in Your love. We pray against every spirit of fear, isolation, and confusion, and we ask that You replace them with godly friendships, mentors, and opportunities for growth. Surround him with ministry angels, and let Your hedge of protection be a constant shield around him (Psalm 91:11-12).

We also want to gently remind you, and all who read this, of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is through His blood that we are cleansed and set free. If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we invite them to surrender their life to Him today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Father, we thank You for the miracles You have already performed and for the ones yet to come. We trust You to continue the good work You have begun in your son’s life (Philippians 1:6). May his days be filled with Your peace, his nights with restful sleep, and his heart with the assurance of Your love. We declare that every chain is broken, every curse is nullified, and every negative habit is replaced with godly fruit. Let his life be a testimony to Your glory, and may he walk in the freedom and joy that only You can provide.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’ve been picturing you, after such a long season of worry, catching that glimpse of calm, a relaxed day, a quieter night, and recognizing it as the answer it truly is. Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance, and we join you in thanking Jesus for that tangible peace.

We know the worry doesn’t stop when morning comes, and the steps you’re describing, through anxiety, PTSD memories, rigid habits, and the sheer relentlessness of it all, can feel heavy. But we’re learning that one of the most powerful medicines for a wounded mind is a steady, safe relationship. The way you show up for your son, over and over, is not just care; it’s a living picture of God’s faithful presence. When trust has been shattered, learning to lean on one person gradually teaches the heart that not everyone is a threat. You are doing that sacred work simply by being there with gentleness each day.

One thing that might serve you both in the middle of it: when you see a moment of relaxation, even a tiny one, pause and name it aloud. Not with pressure, but just a quiet “I love seeing you calm right now.” It may seem small, but for a mind that battles confusion, those anchored moments of safety can become building blocks for a more peaceful internal world.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the peace You’ve already poured out on this son, and we ask for more. Hold him through the night so rest comes without torment. Soothe his mind from whatever makes him uneasy, and let Your presence be the unshakable calm beneath everything he faces. Break the grip of anxiety, painful memories, and stubborn patterns, not all at once but step by step. Surround him with safe, kind people, caregivers who are patient and wise. Give his mom the endurance she needs and the joy of watching You move. Cover this home and all their comings and goings with Your protection. We ask for steady, increasing wholeness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

It is cause for thanksgiving indeed, that your son has known a night of calm and a day of peace. Answered prayer is precious encouragement, and you do well to recount it. Yet I perceive in your long petition a multitude of words born of deep anxiety. Our Lord would have you cast that burden upon Himself, for He says, "Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat; nor for the body, what you shall put on." What profit has fretting ever brought to any soul? It only unfits the heart for faith and the hands for service. Be not swept about by external disturbances, but let your requests be made known unto God with thanksgiving, and then leave them in His almighty hand.

There is healing for your son in Jesus, and in Him alone. You know that even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, the smallest things about Christ overflow with restoring virtue. His very garment's hem can make the trembling woman whole. Pardon and healing are loving yoke-fellows; when He forgives, He heals. At Calvary, not the sharp knife alone but the soothing balm is found. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up all their wounds. The mind bewildered by confusion, the soul tormented by memories, these are not beyond the great Physician's art. He who stilled the raging sea can quiet the storms within a troubled heart.

Yet mark this: Christ's healing power is most conspicuous when He is teaching. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Let your son be brought near to the preaching of the Gospel, for the Word carries the Spirit's balm. Lay him daily at the feet of Jesus by intercession, not with a clamorous torrent of petition, but with the persistent, quiet faith that looks to Christ and expects His touch. The palsied man had no hope except through the roof, for the quibbling doctors blocked the entrance. So press through every obstacle by simple trust, and He who sees your faith will say, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven thee," and with that word the palsy departs.

When Christ healed Peter's wife's mother, she straightway rose and ministered unto Him. Healing issues in service. Look forward in hope to the day when your son, even in the measure grace supplies, shall glorify God with a calm and ordered life. Until then, let patience possess your soul, and remember the Lord has begun a good work; He will perfect it. We join our prayers with yours, not with hasty or superstitious declarations, but commending both you and your boy into the hands of Him who is able to keep you from falling. May the peace that passes all understanding garrison your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for peace for your son, and you ask rightly, for peace is a great good, the mother of all blessings. But consider what peace truly is. There is a peace the world gives, which is but the absence of outward turmoil. Yet even if the world lies quiet, if the soul is at war within itself, tossed by fear, torn by anxious thoughts, disturbed by imaginary terrors, what profit is that? The worst war is the war within, when the body battles the soul with desires and dread, when the mind is a storm. This is the peace we must above all seek: that the heart be still before God.

You recount with joy that after prayer your son had a calm day and restful night, and you see the power of God. Rejoice in that, but do not let a single hour of disturbance throw you into such turmoil that you race to rebuke every hidden curse or wicked word. Why do you grant such power to the words of others? Has Christ not said, “My peace I give to you”, a peace not as the world gives? If He is with you, what can a curse do? The demon trembles at a faithful soul, but he dances around an anxious one. To fall into fear of spells and word curses is to let the enemy sow fresh disorder. Instead, stand firm: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” is not an empty promise. Trust it.

Your long list of petitions, though born of love, reveals a heart that is not at rest. You seek to arrange every detail, his food, his shaving, his outings, his caregivers, and you plead as if God needed a reminder. Do you believe He has not already numbered the hairs of your son’s head? The Apostle bids us to “be anxious for nothing,” but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known. You have made them known; now let the peace of God, which passes understanding, guard your heart. That peace comes not by securing all outcomes, but by surrendering them to the One who loves your son more than you do.

When Christ sent His disciples, He commanded them to speak “Peace to this house.” That peace was no mere form of words. It was a real gift, a blessing that rests upon the worthy. But if a house rejects peace, it returns to the giver. So too with your prayers: you invoke peace upon your son. Let that peace begin in you. A mother at war within herself cannot be a vessel of calm. The peace of God is a quietness of soul that smiles at storms, because it knows they are under command. The Lord spoke to the wind and waves: “Peace, be still.” He can speak that same word to the turbulence in your son’s mind and in your own. Strive then for this inner stillness. Fast from anxious rehearsals of disaster. Cease from the enumeration of every possible ill, for such rehearsal is a kind of poison.

You speak of healing for his mind, his memories, his habits. The Great Physician does cut and wound, for He came not to bring a superficial peace but a sword, a sword to sever sin from the soul, the diseased from the sound. So do not fear if after calm days a restless night intrudes. Is the cure always without pain? The surgeon’s knife brings health. And often what you call a setback is but the stirring that precedes deliverance. Hold fast in prayer, but let your prayer be simple: “Lord, have mercy.” A few words from a quiet heart pierce heaven more readily than a torrent of anxious requests.

Look at the lilies of the field, at the birds of the air; does not the same Creator care for your son? He has already given you signs of His mercy, seizures ceased, moments of calm, a meal eaten without confusion. Feed on these as tokens, and let them build trust. When the agitation rises, do not immediately think some enemy has spoken a curse or that witchcraft is at work. Is Christ so weak a guardian that a neighbor’s idle words can overpower His protection? No, but our own fears open the door to trouble. Therefore, guard your heart. Let peace rule there. And when you pray, after you have asked, add, “Yet not my will, but Thine be done,” and then sleep like a child in the arms of the Father.

I charge you, then: strive first for the peace that conquers the inner war. Entrust all the daily details into His hands. And when you receive the greeting in the church, “Peace be unto all,” let it not be a mere sound in the air; receive it as the very breath of Christ, stilling the storm within you. Love your son, pray for him, but do not let your love become a fever of anxiety. For a calm mother, resting in God, is a greater gift to that child than a thousand recited petitions wrung from a troubled soul. May the Lord grant you both that peace which is the foundation of all godliness and honesty, and may He bring your son to wholeness according to His perfect will.
