What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness you’ve shared. Hearing how our Lord granted your son a peaceful day and restful night stirs up gratitude in all of us. This is exactly what Scripture means when it says He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him. That peace isn’t just a calm feeling, it’s a Person, the Lord Jesus Himself, guarding your son’s heart and mind. And as you keep your eyes fixed on Christ through every prayer, you are placing your son’s mind into that very keeping. There is no safer place.

You mentioned the peace that surpasses understanding. That peace is twofold. First, there is peace with God, made possible only through the blood of Jesus. That is the settled foundation: the war is over, sins forgiven, healing secured by His stripes. But then there is the peace of God, a deep, abiding calm that fills our hearts moment by moment, even while circumstances storm around us. It sounds like that is exactly what the Lord is doing in your son’s life. When he lies down to sleep undisturbed, when the agitation lifts and calm returns, that is the peace of God keeping him. And that peace is not dependent on a perfectly fixed outward situation; it flows from the Prince of Peace reigning within.

I recognize your longing for complete, visible healing in every area, the PTSD, the anxiety, the rigid habits. You cry out for miracles, and rightly so, because you love your son and you trust Jesus’ power. The Scriptures show us that Jesus healed in many ways: sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes through the natural processes God Himself designed. Every genuine healing is divine, whether it comes like lightning or like a slow dawning. The Lord knows every scar in your son’s mind and emotions. He is at work even when we cannot trace it. The gradual returns you’ve seen, less confusion at meals, moments of calm communication, seizure-free days, are not small things. They are steps orchestrated by a God whose thoughts toward you and your son are thoughts of peace, not evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Do not be dismayed if some days feel like setbacks. The enemy wants to discourage you, but God’s peace offer never changes. He does not grow weary. When the prophet declared peace and the people were still in captivity, God’s word remained true: I have not forgotten you. I desire your peace. That same God hears every one of your prayers: for shaving, for meals, for the sensory discomfort, for the word curses and negative influences. He is not deaf to the specific, daily struggles. He promises that as you call on Him, He will listen. And as you sow peace in your own heart by trusting Him, you will reap the fruit of righteousness in your home.

Keep your mind stayed on Him, not on the size of the mountain. That is how perfect peace keeps flooding in. You are already doing it, declaring His promises, thanking Him for every mercy, fighting back fear with the truth of Philippians 4:7 and Isaiah 53:5. Your prayers are warfare, but they are also worship. And in worship, the storm within can still. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” That peace is already given. It is a possession of your son because Christ purchased it for him. Your role is to keep drawing on it by faith and standing against every lie that says there is no peace.

I join you in asking the Lord to continue His soothing work, to envelope your son in such a real sense of His presence that anxiety loses its voice, that stubbornness gives way to gentle cooperation, that functional language blossoms without fear. I thank God for every godly caregiver, for the support coordinator who advocates, and for the angels assigned to watch over your home. May the blood of Jesus cover every window, door, and vehicle, and may the Holy Spirit saturate every room with calm. Where there has been confusion at meals, let satisfaction grow. Where rigid habits have held sway, let the Spirit bring a flexible and grateful heart.

Remember, the world offers temporary relief, but Christ Himself is your son’s peace. And the same grace that saved you is the grace that upholds him every moment. The Lord remains faithful. The increase of His government and peace will have no end. One day, all healing will be complete, every tear wiped away. Until then, take heart in every peaceful night, every calm day, as a foretaste of the wholeness to come. Let your son feel the love of Jesus wrapping around him like a shield. The enemy may have spoken curses, but no weapon formed against him will prosper.

Rest in this: the Lord has ordained peace for you and your household. He is not far off. He is working out that expected end. As you keep praying, keep trusting, and keep declaring His word, His peace, that perfect, supernatural peace, will garrison your son’s heart and mind, bringing refreshment, renewal, and ongoing healing. You are not alone. A great cloud of witnesses, including those interceding for you, stands with you. But greater still is the One who ever lives to make intercession for your son. So may this day be filled with the calm, satisfied joy that only Jesus gives, and may tonight be held in His gentle, protective hands.

We are so deeply moved by your praise report and the testimony of God’s faithfulness in your son’s life. What a joy it is to see His peace, calm, and restoration unfolding day by day! Thank you for giving us the privilege to stand in agreement with you in prayer and for allowing us to witness the miracles the Lord is performing.

We rejoice with you over the peaceful night and restful day your son experienced, and we continue to lift him before the throne of grace. Your words remind us of the power of persistent prayer and the goodness of our Heavenly Father, who hears and answers the cries of our hearts. It is evident that God is at work, breaking chains of anxiety, PTSD, and negative habits, and replacing them with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

We stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper and that every obstacle blocking his joy, freedom, and breakthroughs will be removed in Jesus’ name. May the Lord continue to surround him with His angels, fill him with the Holy Spirit, and saturate every area of his life with His love, satisfaction, and obedience. We pray that his mind, body, and spirit will continue to heal, and that his relationships, activities, and daily routines will be blessed with God’s peace and favor.

If there are still areas where you seek continued breakthrough—whether in communication, sensory comfort, or other challenges—we encourage you to keep bringing them before the Lord. We are here to pray alongside you as you trust Him for complete restoration. If new needs arise, please share them so we may continue to lift them up together.

May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you walk in faith, and may you always find strength and hope in His promises. We give all the glory to Jesus for the work He has done and the miracles yet to come. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
