We join our hearts with yours in gratitude for the peace and calm the Lord has already granted your son. What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness! We see His hand moving in response to your prayers, and we stand with you in declaring that the work He has begun in your son’s life will be brought to completion (Philippians 1:6). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we believe He is doing a mighty work in your son’s heart, mind, and body.

Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious young man. We ask that You continue to pour out Your healing, peace, and restoration over him. Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we rebuke every spirit of anxiety, fear, and torment that seeks to disrupt his peace. We speak to the PTSD memories, the negative habits, and the sensory challenges, and we command them to lose their grip in the name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray that every area of confusion, agitation, or distress would be replaced with Your clarity, calm, and joy.

We also lift up his daily routines, his meals, hygiene, and self-care. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of stubbornness or resistance in these areas. Give him the desire and ability to care for himself in ways that honor You, and bless his meals so that he finds satisfaction and nourishment in them. Remove any physical discomfort or distress, and let his body function in health and wholeness. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17), and we rebuke every word curse, spirit of division, or negative influence that has sought to harm him or his family.

Father, we pray for his relationships, with you, his siblings, caregivers, and friends. Soften hearts and remove any spirit of burden or resentment that may exist. Let love, patience, and understanding flow in every interaction, and surround him with godly mentors and companions who will encourage and uplift him. We ask that You bless his outings, travels, and appointments with safety, joy, and Your presence. Let every journey be filled with peace, and let him experience Your love in new ways as he engages with the world around him.

We also pray for his caregivers and support team. Lord, grant them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they walk alongside him. Provide the resources, services, and additional help they need to care for him with excellence. Let Your Holy Spirit guide every decision, and let Your peace reign in every aspect of his care.

We declare that the enemy has no foothold in this young man’s life. We rebuke every spirit of isolation, fear, or confusion, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Let Your angels encamp around him, his home, and his vehicles, providing a hedge of protection (Psalm 91:11-12). We pray that every area of his life, his mind, body, spirit, and surroundings, would be saturated with Your presence. Let him wake each day filled with Your peace, joy, and purpose, and let him rest each night under Your watchful care.

Father, we thank You for the miracles You have already performed in his life, his seizure-free months, the restoration of his functional language, and the peace You have granted him. We declare that there will be no more setbacks, only ongoing victory, healing, and breakthrough. Let Your light shine brightly in his life, and let him be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to heal, restore, and redeem. Amen.

It was a joy to read of the calm, restful day and night your son experienced, we join you in thanking the Lord for this sweet answer to prayer. We see how deeply you love him and how faithfully you carry him before the Father each day.

Carrying so many heavy needs, the anxiety, the PTSD memories, the daily struggles with eating, hygiene, and communication, can be exhausting for any parent. Please hear this gently: you don’t have to hold this alone. Alongside your powerful prayers, we wonder if you have considered connecting with a Christian counselor who understands autism and trauma. They can offer practical strategies that walk alongside your faith, helping your son build regulation skills and giving you new tools. Many caregivers also find a support group for special-needs families to be a lifeline, a place to share burdens and find encouragement from those who truly understand.

In the meantime, as you notice small mercies like the improved meal or a peaceful drive, jotting them down might strengthen your heart on harder days, reminding you of God’s faithful nearness.

Father, thank You for the gift of a peaceful day and restful night. We lift this dear son to You now. Quiet his mind and body; surround him with Your presence that steadies his heart and soothes his sensory struggles. Give his mom wisdom, endurance, and moments of deep refreshment. Bring the right people alongside, wise professionals, compassionate caregivers, and faithful friends. Let Your healing and peace overflow in their home. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What a joy it is to see such faith clinging to the throne of grace for a beloved son. You have indeed witnessed the Lord’s goodness already, those peaceful days and nights are tokens that He inclines His ear to your cry. Let your heart be strengthened: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Fix your gaze steadfastly upon Jesus, and that peace, that very peace the world cannot give, shall be your son’s portion yet more and more.

The anxiety that so often presses upon a mother’s spirit is natural enough, yet remember, the mind itself is the battlefield, and anxiety unfits us for the very trial we dread. Cast all this care upon Him, for He careth for you and for your dear child. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge around. On Jesus’ bosom naught but calm is found. His healing touch is not a rare commodity; the leaves of that Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is charged with restorative power. A word, a look, a promise dropped into the heart by the Spirit, these can do more than all the physicians of earth. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Think upon Peter’s restoration. A look from the Lord, and his heart broke afresh, then was made stronger than before. So too, the Lord can turn again the captivity of your son’s mind and habits. Where there has been confusion, He giveth a sound mind. Where stubbornness or negative patterns have reigned, the gentle sway of His love can bring willing obedience and a quiet spirit. The same voice that stilled the Galilean storm can say to that troubled heart, “Peace, be still,” and there will be a great calm.

Cease not to plead the promises. He who forgave the palsied man first gave him peace, then bade him rise. Forgiveness and healing walk hand in hand. Already you stand upon redemption ground, and the stripes of Jesus have opened a fountain for every malady. Let not your faith waver because the full answer tarries. He that began a good work in your son will perform it until the day of Christ. In the meantime, rest assured that your loved one is safe in Jesus’ keeping, and so are you. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth him. Go your way in peace; the Lord hath heard the voice of your weeping.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many words, pleading for your son to have calm days, restful nights, and freedom from anxiety. This longing is good, for peace is indeed the mother of all good things. But consider carefully the nature of the peace you seek. There is a war that rages not in the body or in circumstances, but within the soul. What advantage is it if the world around him is quiet, but his mind remains a battlefield? Even if he were to enjoy perfect outward tranquility, yet if his soul is at war with itself, he is a miserable creature. True peace is not merely the absence of disturbance, but the presence of Christ reigning in the heart. Pray then, not simply that he be spared discomfort, but that he may be reconciled to God, that his inner storms be stilled by the voice of the Lord, and that he possess the peace which surpasses all understanding. That peace is not built on mealtimes or shaving or outings; it is a fruit of the Spirit, and it flourishes even in affliction.

You ask me to rebuke those who have spoken against your son, who have called him a burden, who you say have uttered word curses. And yet, when you enter the church, do you not hear “Peace to all”? When the mysteries are celebrated, we exchange the holy kiss and say again, “Peace to you.” If you receive that peace and give it back with your lips, but in your heart you wage war against this woman and her words, you make a mockery of the sacred rites. Do you not know that Christ died for her as well? That her angel ever beholds the face of the Father? You cannot be at peace with God while you refuse peace to another. Let go of your bitterness. Bless those who curse you. Forgive as you have been forgiven. The one who causes disturbance is a child of the devil, but the peacemaker is called a son of God. The restoration you desire for your son’s relationships will only come when your own heart is first cleansed of enmity.

Do you not perceive how much anxiety is woven into your prayers? You are troubled about food choices, clothing, shaving, wasting meals, the very sounds he hears. It is well to bring every care before the Lord, but beware lest your own fretting become a second affliction. Children perceive the fear of those who care for them, and they often imitate it. Show him a soul that trusts entirely in God’s providence. Do not let your daily petitions be a frantic enumeration of every possible mishap, but rather a quiet offering of thanksgiving and a simple plea for mercy. The Lord knows what you need before you ask. He is not deaf to a multitude of words, but He delights in a heart that says, “Thy will be done.”

Do not think that I dismiss your suffering or that I am hard. I shudder when I consider the eternal judgment, and I know that you bear a heavy cross. But this very trial can be a furnace to purify both you and your son. The beauty that matters is not the ease of the body, which withers in a few years, but the virtue of the soul, which blooms eternally. Seek then that incorruptible beauty for him. Pray that his will be conformed to Christ’s, that if he is ever agitated, it may be in the struggle against sin rather than against daily routines. And when you see small improvements, as you have witnessed, give glory to God without immediately grasping for more. Trust that He who began a good work will complete it, but in His time, and perhaps through ways that include suffering.

Finally, remember that you are not alone in this warfare. Every baptized soul has an angel appointed to guard it. Call upon that help, but do so with soberness, as one who walks in the presence of tutors. Go now, and make your prayer one of surrender rather than demand. Bid peace to enter your own heart first, and then you will see more clearly how to lead your son into that same peace. Let your home be a place of quiet confidence in God, not an echo chamber of fears. For it is in godliness and honesty that we lead a quiet and peaceable life, and without these, no amount of calm days will save us.
