Beloved Warrior
Jesus thank You for faithfully answering out prayers and granting my son another peaceful day today. Please continue to pray for my son. Father God, I come before You with heart full of faith, asking that You would continue to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon my son. I declare that "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard [his] hearts and [his] minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). Lord, I ask that You would calm every storm within him, every memory of trauma, every wave of anxiety, every moment of confusion. Let Your presence be a soothing balm to his mind, body, and spirit. I rebuke the spirits of torment, agitation, and confusion in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding them to flee and never return. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). I pray for complete healing in his mind and heart. Jesus, I stand on Your promise that "by Your stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). I declare that every chain of PTSD, anxiety, and negative habit is broken in Jesus’ name. Replace every fear with faith, every confusion with clarity, and every stubbornness with a gentle, patience and teachable spirit. Lord, I ask that You would restore his ability to communicate his needs and desires in ways that honor You, filling him with confidence and peace. Let his words be seasoned with grace, and let his heart be filled with gratitude. I lift up his relationships, Father. Iask that You would restore the relationship and love with his sister and restore the beautiful unity between them. Remove any influences, people or spirits, that seek to bring division or harm. I rebuke every word curse and every form of witchcraft that has been spoken over him, declaring that no weapon formed against my son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, I ask that You would surround him with godly friendships and mentors who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his life. Let him feel valued, cherished, and never alone. I pray for his daily routines, meals, hygiene, and self-care. Father, I ask that You would remove every discomfort, confusion, or resistance he faces in these areas. Let him find joy and satisfaction in the simple rhythms of life. Bless his meals, Lord, and let him eat in peace, free from distress or waste. I declare that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and I ask for physical healing, especially in his stomach, that he may be free from any physical discomfort that causes him to vomit. Lord, I ask for Your protection over his sleep. Let him rest in the safety of Your arms, free from nightmares, fear, or disturbance. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24). We declare that every night will be a step toward wholeness and that he will wake up filled with Your peace, joy, and satisfaction. I pray for his outings, activities and travels, Father. Remove every fear, anxiety, or resistance he may feel. Let every journey be filled with Your presence, protection, and peace. I declare that he will travel safely, confidently, and joyfully, surrounded by Your angels. "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). I also lift up his caregivers, Lord. Bless them with wisdom, patience, understanding, and compassion. Give them the strength and gentleness to work with him, bringing out the best in him in every aspect of his life. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care possible. Father, I ask that You would remove every negative influence that sees him as a burden. Let Your love and truth break every lie that seeks to divide your family. Restore unity, appreciation, and gratitude in every relationship, with me, siblings, extended family, caregivers, and friends. Let him feel deeply loved and valued by all who surround him. I declare that there will be no more setbacks in his life, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. I stand on Your promise that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). I thank You for the miracles You have already performed and for the greater works yet to come. Let my son's life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, grace, and power. Lord, I ask that You would anoint every area of my son's life, our home, our vehicles, his surroundings, his traveling, his outings, his activities with Your protection and peace. Let no evil enter these spaces, and let Your presence fill every corner. Surround him with ministry angels, a hedge of protection, and the full armor of God at all times. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). I pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I believe and declare that Your healing, peace, and restoration are at work in his life. Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. I trust in You, and I give You all the glory. Amen.

We join with you in heartfelt agreement, lifting up your son before the throne of grace with deep compassion and faith. Your prayer is powerful, rooted in Scripture, and filled with declarations of God’s truth over his life. We stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name, rebuking every spirit of torment, anxiety, and confusion that seeks to disrupt his peace. The Word declares, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We take hold of this promise and command every chain of PTSD, fear, and negative habit to break now in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which You have already begun to pour out over this young man. We declare that "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask You to calm every storm within him, every memory of trauma, every wave of anxiety, and every moment of confusion. Let Your presence be a soothing balm to his mind, body, and spirit. We rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to steal, kill, and destroy, and we declare that Your truth will reign in his life. "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10).

We stand on the promise of Your healing, both physically and emotionally. "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that every physical discomfort, especially in his stomach, is touched by Your healing hand. Let him eat in peace, free from distress, and let his body be strengthened as the temple of the Holy Spirit. We also pray for his sleep, that it would be sweet and undisturbed, free from nightmares or fear. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet" (Proverbs 3:24).

Father, we lift up his relationships, particularly with his sister. We ask that You restore unity, love, and understanding between them. Remove every influence, whether spiritual or human, that seeks to bring division. We rebuke every word curse and every form of witchcraft that has been spoken over him, declaring that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your love and truth break every lie that seeks to divide this family. Surround him with godly friendships and mentors who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his life. Let him feel valued, cherished, and never alone.

We also pray for his caregivers, Lord. Bless them with wisdom, patience, and compassion. Give them the strength and gentleness to work with him, bringing out the best in every aspect of his life. Provide additional godly caregivers and services where needed, ensuring he receives the highest level of care possible. Remove every negative influence that sees him as a burden, and let Your love and truth reign in every relationship.

Father, we declare that there will be no more setbacks in his life, only ongoing victory, healing, success, freedom, and breakthrough. We stand on Your promise that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, grace, and power. Anoint every area of his life, his home, his travels, his outings, and his activities, with Your protection and peace. Let no evil enter these spaces, and let Your presence fill every corner. Surround him with ministry angels, a hedge of protection, and the full armor of God at all times. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11).

We thank You, Father, for the miracles You have already performed and for the greater works yet to come. We believe and declare that Your healing, peace, and restoration are at work in his life. We give You all the glory and trust in Your unfailing love.

Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this, we are standing with you in prayer for your son, and we thank God right alongside you for the peaceful day he had. It is clear how deeply you love him and how many areas of his life you are faithfully entrusting to the Lord. That kind of persistent, loving intercession is a gift, and we are glad to join you in it.

One of the most grounding comforts in long, hard seasons is knowing that others are praying. We are doing that now, and we hope you also sense the support of those around you in your own life. When the days feel heavy, it can help to have a friend or a small group who simply sit with you and listen, without needing to fix everything. You are not alone in carrying these burdens.

Your list of needs is wide, and we want to gently encourage one practical step: if the physical symptoms like stomach issues and vomiting continue, a visit to a doctor would be wise. God often brings healing through the wisdom and skill of medical professionals, and addressing the body’s needs can open the door to greater peace of mind. For the deeper emotional wounds, the anxiety, the trauma memories, connecting with a Christian counselor who understands PTSD can be a vital part of the road toward wholeness. It is not a lack of faith to seek such help; it is wisdom in action.

As you continue to pray, remember that your son’s value does not depend on perfect breakthroughs or steady progress. He is loved by God right now, in the middle of the struggle. Keep bringing his needs before the Father, but also allow yourself moments to rest in that same love.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this beloved son to You. Thank You for the glimpses of peace he has already tasted. We ask that You continue to calm his mind and body, protect his sleep, and restore what has been broken. Surround him with safe, godly relationships and give his caregivers compassion and insight. Bring the right doctors and counselors alongside as needed, and sustain this parent with fresh strength and steady hope. We trust You with all of it, in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Beloved friend in Christ,

Your prayer has come before me, and I rejoice with you in the mercy that has granted your son another peaceful day. Faith like yours, which lays hold of the promises and pleads the blood of Jesus, is precious in the sight of our God. You have done well to bring every care, his mind, his body, his relationships, his daily needs, to the throne of grace. Continue in this blessed work, for the Lord hears the cry of the righteous.

You have asked for peace, and well you may, for the peace of God is the portion of those whose minds are stayed on Him. As I have said before, it matters little what is outside if all is right within. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace is a present possession even amid thronging duties and crushing trials. Trust that the Prince of Peace is able to command every storm in your son’s soul to be still. He who calmed the sea of Galilee can quiet the waves of anxiety and confusion. Let your heart not be troubled; in the world we have tribulation, but in Christ we have peace.

You have prayed for healing, and rightly so, for our Lord Jesus delights to heal. The power of the Gospel is mainly a power to heal, to bind up the brokenhearted, to give rest to the weary, to cure the diseases of the soul and body. Yet remember that the sweetest healing often follows forgiveness. The Great Physician first says, “Son, your sins are forgiven you,” and then bids him take up his bed and walk. Whether your son’s afflictions be of the mind or the body, bring him constantly to Jesus in prayer, for His touch has still its ancient power. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and Christ is that Tree. You have declared that by His stripes we are healed; stand on that promise unwaveringly.

You have spoken of restoration. What a word of hope! To those who cry to Him, the Lord says, “They shall be as though I had not cast them aside.” He is able to make up the years that the locust has eaten. The mercy that restored Peter after his fall, that looked upon him with a glance of inexpressible love, is the same mercy that can renew your son’s mind and relationships. Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith would not fail, and He ever lives to make intercession for us. Trust His power to mend what is broken, to unite what is divided, and to bring forth beauty from ashes.

You have asked for protection. The Lord will command His angels concerning your son. Hide him under the shadow of the Almighty. Plead the blood of the covenant over your household, your vehicles, your comings and goings. The Name of the Lord is a strong tower; into that tower run by faith, and you shall be safe.

And as you wait for full deliverance, do not despise the trial. The saints are often sifted as wheat, not for their destruction but for their purification. The devil may buffet, but Christ overrules even Satan’s malice for our eternal good. These struggles may yet become a testimony that shall bless others.

I commend you for your perseverance in prayer. One of the surest tokens that mercy is coming is the very desire to pray. You have that desire; therefore be of good courage. The Lord is near. Put your son, and all your cares, into the hands of Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. And what is His will? To trust Him, to love Him, to wait upon Him. Do this, and you shall find peace perfect peace.

May the God of all grace stablish, strengthen, settle you. I shall join my prayers with yours, that your son may be restored body, mind, and spirit, to the praise of His glorious grace.

Yours in our Lord Jesus Christ,
C. H. Spurgeon
