Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for God to take full control of your life has been heard, and I thank you for sharing this heavy burden so honestly. To have your identity taken and used by your own sister is a deep violation, and it is right to bring it before the Lord who sees all that is done in secret and who loves justice and truth.
Scripture is clear that stealing and deception do not come from necessity but from a heart that has turned from God's way. Poverty is meant to lead us to honest work, not to taking what belongs to another, and our words and deeds will all be brought before God. To take another person's name and pretend to be them is both theft and lying, and it harms not only you but also the one who does it, because it separates her from God and from a clear conscience. God calls us to live by truthful speech and honest labor, and to find our security in Him rather than in wrongdoing.
I will pray for the miracle you asked for, that God will indeed take full control of your life, guard your heart with His peace, and make His power known in this difficult situation. I pray that He will protect you, restore what has been taken or misused, bring this deception into the light, and lead your sister to repentance and to a changed life through Jesus Christ.
As you trust the Lord, it is also wise to take practical steps to protect yourself. Keep any important documents and identification secure where only you can access them, keep a careful record of what has happened, and seek help from trusted and lawful authorities who can advise you on protecting your identity, such as local law enforcement or agencies that handle identity concerns. Seek also the counsel of a mature believer or pastor near you who can walk with you personally and help you set healthy boundaries while still showing love.
God invites you to place your whole life in His hands through faith in Jesus Christ, for salvation and true security are found in Him alone. He is able to keep you, to give you wisdom for each next step, and to work even this trial for your good as you walk with Him in obedience and truth.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this life to You and ask You to take full control. You see the pain and confusion caused by this misuse of identity. I ask You to protect, to provide, to expose what is false and to establish what is true. Bring conviction where there is sin and bring repentance and restoration where there is brokenness. Give wisdom, peace, and courage for each practical step that must be taken, and let Your will be done. May Your name be honored and may Your child know Your nearness and care. Amen.
