This is a serious matter of deception and dishonesty, and we know this must bring you great distress and a feeling of violation. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He cares about truth and justice. His Word says in Leviticus 19:11, You shall not steal. You shall not lie. You shall not deceive one another. And again in Ephesians 4:25, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. What your sister is doing is not aligned with God's will, and we pray that she will be convicted of this sin, turn from it, and seek to make it right.
We also rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that miracles are done. As Scripture says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
To ask God to take full control of your life is to trust Him completely even when circumstances feel out of control. We encourage you to cast your cares on Him and trust His direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. God is your refuge and your true identity is secure in Him, even when your earthly identity is being misused. Your longing that God would take full control of your life is itself a work of grace, and it is the right and necessary prayer for every soul. Scripture says, Submit yourselves unto God. This is not a counsel for one moment only, but for all of life, to exercise humility, to surrender every proud pretension, and to yield all that you are and have into the hands of your Father and Friend. To have the soul entirely submitted to God about everything, so that we never wish to have anything in providence other than God would have it to be, this is true submission, and it is a great thing to possess it.
It is a bitter trial to be betrayed by one so near to you. Judas betrayed his Master with a kiss, and the wound of unfaithfulness from kindred or friend cuts deepest. Your sister to take your name and pretend to be you is a grievous wrong, and God sees it. He may in His infinite patience permit the rebel to continue for a while, but as surely as He lives He will overthrow His adversaries and bring all things to light. Every knee shall bow before Him, and no hidden thing shall remain concealed. Bring this betrayal before the Lord, who knows what it is to be betrayed, and ask Him both for justice and for mercy.
There is a way of access to God even now, and it is close to you. Jesus said, I am the way, and there is no coming to God except through Him. You do not need another mediator to speak to Christ for you. You may come directly to Him, the Just who died for the unjust to bring us to God. Your nearness to God is not by your own worthiness, but is evinced at the mercy seat through pleading the precious blood of Christ. He is Himself God, without spot or blemish, and having finished the work given Him to do, He is near to God in acceptance and in person, and those who are one with Him are made near also.
Come to Him then with faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God. He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Believe that God is what He says He is, and take Him at His Word. Hear what God has to say in His Word, and then speak to Him in prayer. This is sacred converse, sometimes He calls and we reply, sometimes we call and He graciously answers. Be not slow to hear when God is swift to cheer you, and keep fellowship with Him by both hearing His consolations and pouring out your heart before Him.
Know also that He is a God ready to pardon. When conscience is awakened and we see no plea in ourselves, our wisdom is to look for a plea in the character of God. He is ready to forgive the penitent, and His mercy is proclaimed to all who will yield themselves to Jesus. The place where God meets sinners is at the cross of Christ, and it is the only place where it is safe for a sinner to meet his God. There you are prepared to meet Him, not in terror of justice, but in peace through the blood of reconciliation. Acquaint yourself now with Him, and be at peace, thereby good shall come unto you.

Reveal what is hidden, restrain what is evil, and restore what has been taken or misused.
