Miracle prayer

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your grandson and you, his grandmother, in earnest prayer. The news of an HIV diagnosis is deeply concerning, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that nothing is impossible for God, and we believe in His ability to restore health and bring miracles.
First, we want to affirm that we pray in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that healing is already provided for your grandson through the finished work of the cross.
Lord, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young man. Touch every cell in his body, restore his immune system, and cleanse him from this virus. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command it to leave his body. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:3 that You forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases. We stand on this promise today, believing that Your healing power is at work in him.
We also lift up this grandmother, who is carrying the weight of this diagnosis. Lord, strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort her heart and remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Provide for every financial need, Lord, as You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Open doors of blessing and breakthrough, and let Your favor rest upon this family.
We must also speak truth in love, for the Bible calls us to live in a way that honors God. If there are areas in this young man’s life that need repentance or alignment with Your Word, we pray that You would bring conviction and restoration. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray for a heart of repentance and a life fully surrendered to You, for true healing—spirit, soul, and body—comes from walking in obedience to Your will.
Father, we ask for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands and minds as they care for him, and let Your healing power flow through their efforts. We declare that this diagnosis will not define his future, but rather, Your glory will be revealed through his testimony.
We pray for protection over this family, that the enemy would have no foothold in their lives. Surround them with godly counsel, encouragement, and support from the body of Christ. Let them experience Your love in tangible ways, and may this trial draw them closer to You.
