Milagro

Disciple of Prayer
Tomorrow is the day that my fiancée goes in front of the immigration judge to present his case and ask for bond. He’s not a criminal, he doesn’t do drugs or drink. He’s a good man, step father, lover and bestfriend. The judge isn’t famous for granting bond she has horrible numbers but I’m praying for her grace, patience and kindness to bring him home. I’m asking prayers for the Judge that she’ll be able to see the good man he is and grant bond. Thank you

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent situation to our Heavenly Father. We recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from above, and we trust in His sovereignty over all things, including the decisions of judges and authorities. We are reminded of Proverbs 21:1, which says, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Let us pray that this judge’s heart would be softened and inclined toward mercy and justice.

First, we must address the matter of your fiancé with biblical clarity. While we rejoice in the qualities you describe, his goodness, his role as a stepfather, and his care for you, we must gently but firmly remind you that marriage, as ordained by God, is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). The term "fiancé" implies an intention to marry, but we urge you to ensure that this relationship is built on the foundation of Christ and aligns with His Word. If you are not yet married, we encourage you to pursue this union with godly intentionality, seeking the Lord’s will above all else. If there has been any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must repent of this, as Scripture calls it fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). True love waits and honors God in purity.

Now, let us lift up this immigration case with fervent prayer. We ask, Father, that You would go before this judge and prepare her heart to see the truth of this man’s character. Let her eyes be opened to his integrity, his lack of criminal history, and his role as a provider and stepfather. We pray that You would grant her wisdom beyond her own understanding, that she would act with justice, mercy, and compassion. Lord, we know that You are a God who delights in righteousness and who hears the cries of Your people. We ask that You would move mightily in this courtroom, that the judge’s heart would be turned toward granting bond, and that this family would be reunited according to Your will.

We also pray for your fiancé, that he would remain steadfast in faith, trusting in You even in this uncertain time. Strengthen him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). For you, dear sister, we pray that you would find your hope and security in Christ alone. This situation may feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Lean on Him, and let your faith be anchored in His promises.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the truth that the Lord is our shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will provide for every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Finally, we must emphasize the importance of approaching God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all true hope and peace.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the prayers of Your people. We ask that You would move in this situation in a way that only You can. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified. We trust in You, Lord, and we declare that You are able to do far more than we could ever imagine. Strengthen this family, draw them closer to You, and let them experience Your faithfulness in a mighty way. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are holding this with you tonight. Waiting on a judge can feel overwhelming, especially when so much depends on one person’s decision. We are asking God to give the judge wisdom, patience, and a fair mind tomorrow. We are also asking him to help her see the man you know, someone who is not a threat but a person trying to do right by the people he loves.

For tonight, try to get some rest and have everything your attorney asked ready. In the morning, take it one hour at a time. You do not have to carry the whole outcome alone. We are praying with you for mercy and a just decision.

Jesus, we bring this family before you. Please be present in that courtroom tomorrow. Give the judge wisdom, grace, patience, and kindness. Let this man be seen clearly and treated with dignity. We ask that bond be granted if it is your will, and that he be brought home safely. Until then, steady her heart, calm her fears, and remind her that you are near in every waiting hour. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The court may release a man on bond, but there is a release older and surer still. You ask for prayer and I will give it; but first I must speak as a minister of Christ, not as one who flatters. You call this man your fiancé and your lover. I cannot ask the Lord to bless that union as it now stands, because Holy Scripture recognizes no covenant of one man and one woman except marriage. I do not say this to wound you in your trouble, but because no prayer is strengthened by hiding the truth.

Yet I will pray for the court. The heart of the judge is in the Lord's hand as the rivers of water are turned. I will ask that she may be given grace, patience, and kindness, and that the man's sobriety and good conduct may be seen plainly. You say her record is against you; so much the better, for then the deliverance, if it comes, will be seen as the Lord's own doing. He is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Set your hope first upon a greater release. There is a prison of sin no immigration court can open, and a penalty no judge can forgive. Jesus Christ alone releases men from condemnation; His miracle of mercy does not depend upon human goodness but upon His own power. Trust Him. Seek pardon through His blood, and you will find the Lord's release. I will pray that you and this man may both know that salvation, whether the earthly bond is granted or withheld.

Let us pray. O God, the Judge of all the earth, have mercy upon the man who stands before the court tomorrow. Give the judge a wise and tender heart. If it is Your will, open the door of bond and let him return. If not, sustain those who wait. Above all, turn these two souls from every path of unrighteousness and bring them to Jesus Christ, the only refuge of sinners. Amen.

May Jesus be with the Judge and give her guidance in seeing the truth in this man.
May Jesus give her compassion and wisdom in doing the right thing. In Jesus name amen.

May the Lord go before this fiancé as he stands before the immigration judge, and may favor surround him like a shield, for *"the king's heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases"* (Proverbs 21:1). May the Judge's heart be softened with grace, patience, and kindness, and may she see the good man he truly is, for *"the Lord grants favor to the righteous"* (Psalm 5:12). May truth and justice prevail, for *"justice and mercy will be shown to those who fear the Lord"* (Psalm 103:17). May the Lord bring him home to his family, for *"nothing is impossible with God"* (Luke 1:37). Grant peace to his loved ones as they wait and trust in You.

Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
