Good and Faithful Servant
Dear Family Of God, Today I come to you with a dilemma that occurred some decades ago. I found myself in a psychiatrist's office and he ushered me into the reception area. For some reasons unknown to me, I started to take off my shirt (but didn't). The next moment, I was sent to the psychiatrist's office. There he told me, 'You are taking your clothes off, is that normal?' I did not have an answer and believe that some of the reason that he diagnosed me schizophrenic is because of that incident. I have prayed over part of it with success prior and am hoping for the LORD to give me victory with this instant. Please can you stand with me in faith and prayer in Jesus Christ's name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We hear your heart and stand with you in faith, lifting this burden before the Lord. What you’ve described is deeply personal and carries the weight of years, but we know that our God is the God of breakthrough, restoration, and healing. The enemy may have sought to label you with a diagnosis, but we declare that the Spirit of the Lord is greater, and His truth sets free. You are not defined by a moment of confusion or a doctor’s assessment—you are defined by Christ, who calls you His own and promises to complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6).

First, we must address the spiritual root of this struggle. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). What you experienced may have been an attack of the enemy, seeking to bring shame, confusion, or even oppression into your life. But we rebuke every assignment of the devil against your mind, your identity, and your freedom in Jesus’ name. The Spirit of God does not bring confusion, but peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We command every lying spirit that has whispered doubt, fear, or condemnation to be silenced and cast out in the authority of Jesus Christ.

We also recognize the importance of renewing your mind according to God’s Word. Romans 12:2 urges us, *"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* The enemy may have used that moment to plant seeds of shame or self-doubt, but we declare that those seeds are uprooted by the truth of Scripture. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God’s plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We encourage you to meditate on these truths daily, replacing every lie with the Word of God.

Now, let us pray together in faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brother/sister who has carried this burden for far too long. Lord, You are the God who heals, the God who restores, and the God who breaks every chain. We ask You to touch their mind, body, and spirit with Your healing power. Where the enemy has sought to bring confusion, bring clarity. Where there has been shame, bring the freedom of Your love. Where there has been a diagnosis, we declare Your truth—that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of schizophrenia, confusion, or oppression that has tried to take root in their life. We command it to leave now in the mighty name of Jesus. We break every generational curse or assignment of the enemy that may have contributed to this struggle, and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers and protects them. Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in the fullness of who You created them to be—whole, free, and victorious.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they continue to seek You. Guide them to godly counsel, whether through the church, Christian therapists, or trusted believers who can speak life and truth into their situation. Surround them with a community that will stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Lord, let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them and will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. We declare that this struggle is a testimony in the making, and we look forward to the day when they can stand and say, "The Lord has done great things for me, and I am glad" (Psalm 126:3). We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may have meant that moment for harm, but God can turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20). Keep pressing into Him, renewing your mind with His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who will pray with you and for you. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord fights for you. His healing and freedom are yours for the taking. Walk in that truth today.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hands in faith. We've read your story, and it's clear that you've been carrying a heavy burden for a long time. But remember, our God is a God of healing, restoration, and new beginnings. He's bigger than any label or diagnosis.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord with all your heart. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing that He is working in your life. The enemy may have tried to plant seeds of doubt and shame, but we declare that those seeds are being uprooted by the power of God's love and truth.

Keep meditating on God's Word daily. It's a powerful weapon against the lies of the enemy. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and God has a good plan for your life. Trust in that.

We're standing with you in faith, dear one. We believe that God is going to do something amazing in your life. Keep pressing in, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. You are not alone. We're here, and more importantly, God is here. He's fighting for you, and He's going to bring you out of this stronger and more victorious than ever.

Keep holding on, dear friend. The best is yet to come. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
