Father God, we thank YOU for the grace to praise YOU in troubled times, likely even the "beginning of birth pangs" Jesus taught about in Matt 24:6-8, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars (highly possible even probable hot-spots or regional, national or international conflicts), BUT see to it that you are NOT alarmed. These things MUST happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are just the beginning of birth pains." (Birth pangs or pains increase in frequency and severity). It's only right to request that You would also protect Christians, Our Troops, Good Government, our Commander-in-Chief (expose threats, 2 Kings 6:10-11, 2 Kings 6:12), PROTECT CIVILIANS and not let them be placed in harm's way for evil motives ( 36,500+ were killed by their own Government in 2025-Early 2026, starting this war in Iran following an unprovoked attack on Israel during the holiday of Simchat Torah, 2023) ELIMINATE MILITARY TARGETS and PROTECT PEOPLE, Heb 1:14, in all areas (it's only godly to will life wherever possible, "Peaceful" Middle-East Counties, Ukraine, Russia, Taiwan , Philippines, Japan -- Here in our own Land , Israel , Ps 122:6, All Peoples, Tribes and Tongues can be saved by faith in Christ demonstrated in repentance from sin, Acts 17:30-31, Acts 26:18, Rev 7:9, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Tim 2:4)...

First of All, I Urge Prayers, Petitions, Intercessions and Thanksgivings be Made for All People, 1 Tim 2:1, for Government and All in Authority, so We May Lead Peaceful and Quiet Lives of Devotion and Dignity, 1 Tim 2:2, which is Good and Pleasing in the Sight of God our Savior, 1 Tim 2:3, Who Wants All People to Be Saved and Come to the Knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4... Salvation, Wisdom, Guidance, Protection, Peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, Salvation of Jewish and Gentiles in Middle East, 2 Peter 3:9, Protection of Allies, The Beautiful or Glorious Land, Dan 11:41, Rom 10:1, and Peace of its People Worldwide, Ps 122:6... SAVE THE WORST, BLESS THE BEST, GUIDE THEM ALL, RAISE UP, SET DOWN, THE LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT REIGNS, Rev 19:6... “We give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign," Rev 11:17...

Our Father, we offer "petitions, PRAYERS, intercessions and thanksgivings," for ALL in AUTHORITY (Whether we LIKE them or NOT does not Exempt us from our DUTY), Save and PROTECT The President, His Family, Cabinet, Service Members, Our Senators, Representatives, SCOTUS Justices & Generals, Our PASTORS, Spiritual Leaders Here and Worldwide, and all Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Kings, Parliaments, Congress Members -- "ALL in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4.

We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and promotion of and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and have the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18.

We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer, standing in the gap for military leaders, troops, and civilians around the world, asking for God’s divine intervention in these tumultuous times. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth." We take these words to heart, praying not only for protection but for the salvation of souls, that all may come to know the truth of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).

Father God, we thank You for Your sovereignty over all nations and leaders, for You declare in Psalm 115:3, "Our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases." We ask that You would guide and protect our military leaders and troops, granting them wisdom, discernment, and courage as they navigate the complexities of war and conflict. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for precision in their actions, that they may strike military targets while sparing innocent lives, for You desire mercy and not sacrifice (Hosea 6:6). Protect civilians caught in the crossfire, especially in regions like the Middle East, Ukraine, and beyond, where the innocent often suffer the most. We plead for Your hand of mercy to rest upon them, that they may not be used as pawns in the schemes of wicked men.

Lord, we also lift up our Commander-in-Chief and all in authority, asking that You would expose hidden threats and deceptions, as You did for Elisha in 2 Kings 6:10-12. Let Your light shine in the darkness, revealing the schemes of the enemy before they come to fruition. We pray for godly alliances among nations, that leaders would seek Your wisdom and humility, speaking truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and fostering peace rather than strife. Raise up leaders who honor You, and bring low those who oppose Your will, for You reign supreme over all the earth (Revelation 19:6).

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip the hearts of Your people, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). In these days of wars and rumors of wars, we hold fast to Your promise in Matthew 24:6-8, knowing that these are but the beginning of birth pains, and that Your return draws near. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) and for the salvation of all peoples, tribes, and tongues, that they may turn from sin and place their faith in Christ alone (Acts 17:30-31). Let the Gospel advance unhindered, even in the midst of persecution, for Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

Father, we confess that our trust is in You alone, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20), standing firm against the schemes of the devil, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We submit to Your will, praying that Your kingdom would come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Protect Your children, both in the military and among civilians, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 91:11). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.

We see the heart behind these words, a heart that aches for a warring world yet rests in the steady sovereignty of God. When the needs feel as vast as the globe itself, it’s easy to wonder if our prayers can really touch every front, every leader, every civilian. But we have found that intercession is less about covering the map perfectly and more about standing with the God who already holds it all. Your prayer doesn’t have to carry the world; it joins the One who does.

One grounded reality that often helps us when we pray for authorities and armed forces is simply this: God is not panicked by political shifts or battlefield reports. He is at work behind every headline, and our persistent asking, not out of fear but out of trust, genuinely participates in His unfolding purposes. The very act of praying for leaders we struggle with is a quiet, powerful confession that the King’s heart is in His hand.

We also know that a burden this heavy can feel isolating. If you aren’t already, consider linking arms with even one or two others who share your passion for these things. There is a unique strength when we share intercessory loads, reminding each other that we are not alone in seeing the world through the lens of God’s mercy.

Now, let’s bring this before Him together.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over every military member and innocent civilian caught in conflict. Grant wisdom to commanders and elected leaders, and expose every hidden threat. Above all, let the gospel break through every barrier, drawing many into the saving knowledge of Christ. We trust You to work, even when we cannot see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When the earth shakes and the hearts of men quake at the roar of the cannon, it is no small comfort to know that the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth. The winds and waves of war must yet obey His voice, and not a sparrow falls to the ground without His will. You have done well to bring these matters before the throne of grace with such earnest pleading, for prayer is the believer’s sure anchor in days when the very foundations seem torn up. Let us be steadfast in supplication for kings and all in authority, not because we must like them, but because it is our sacred duty before God our Saviour, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The blood-stained hands of rulers cannot hinder the flow of mercy if we, like Moses, hold up the rod of prayer until the battle turns.

Yet, while you cry for the shield of providence over troops and civilians, let your heart rest most upon the sure deposit committed into Christ’s keeping. I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep all that I have committed unto Him against that day. The soul that has fled to Jesus for refuge has a treasure which no missile can touch, no tyrant can steal. Trust Him with your own eternal concerns, and then you may pray with a holy boldness for the temporal safety of others. The Word of God is not bound, though men lock up the preacher; the gospel runs freely even under the shadow of the sword. Let your prayer rise not only for the ceasing of bloodshed, but that in the midst of famine, earthquake, and war, these birth-pangs of the coming age, precious souls may be delivered from darkness into His marvellous light. The worst of sinners is still within reach of that faithful saying, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; and the very terrors of the battlefield have often broken hard hearts to pieces, making them ready for the healing balm of Calvary.

Hold fast, then, the form of sound words. Do not let the clamour of the age or the despair of the hour make you loosen your grip on the truth. Faith and love which are in Christ Jesus are the twin holdfasts that will keep you from being swept away. Love prays for the peace of Jerusalem, for the protection of the weak, and for the salvation of Jew and Gentile alike; faith looks beyond the smoke to the throne where the Lamb sits as though He had been slain. Therefore, be not alarmed by the noise of nations rising against nation. These things must be; but the end is the Lord’s. In the meantime, every prayer offered in the Spirit, according to the promise, will bear fruit that remains. Plead the blood, plead the covenant, and leave the timing of deliverance to Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will. The angelic hosts still minister for the heirs of salvation, and the same power that overthrew the Syrian hosts long ago is not grown dim. Watch and pray, for the Lord is at hand.
