Father God, we live in troubled times, likely even the "beginning of birth pangs" Jesus taught about in Matt 24:6-8, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars (highly possible even probable hot-spots or regional, national or international conflicts), BUT see to it that you are NOT alarmed. These things MUST happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are just the beginning of birth pains." (Birth pangs or pains increase in frequency and severity). It's only right to request that You would also protect Christians, Our Troops, Good Government, our Commander-in-Chief (expose threats, 2 Kings 6:10-11, 2 Kings 6:12), PROTECT CIVILIANS and not let them be placed in harm's way for evil motives ( 36,500+ were killed by their own Government in 2025-Early 2026, starting this war in Iran following an unprovoked attack on Israel during the holiday of Simchat Torah, 2023) ELIMINATE MILITARY TARGETS and PROTECT PEOPLE, Heb 1:14, in all areas (it's only godly to will life wherever possible, "Peaceful" Middle-East Counties, Ukraine, Russia, Taiwan , Philippines, Japan -- Here in our own Land , Israel , Ps 122:6, All Peoples, Tribes and Tongues can be saved by faith in Christ demonstrated in repentance from sin, Acts 17:30-31, Acts 26:18, Rev 7:9, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Tim 2:4)...

First of All, I Urge Prayers, Petitions, Intercessions and Thanksgivings be Made for All People, 1 Tim 2:1, for Government and All in Authority, so We May Lead Peaceful and Quiet Lives of Devotion and Dignity, 1 Tim 2:2, which is Good and Pleasing in the Sight of God our Savior, 1 Tim 2:3, Who Wants All People to Be Saved and Come to the Knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4... Salvation, Wisdom, Guidance, Protection, Peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, Salvation of Jewish and Gentiles in Middle East, 2 Peter 3:9, Protection of Allies, The Beautiful or Glorious Land, Dan 11:41, Rom 10:1, and Peace of its People Worldwide, Ps 122:6... SAVE THE WORST, BLESS THE BEST, GUIDE THEM ALL, RAISE UP, SET DOWN, THE LORD GOD OMNIPOTENT REIGNS, Rev 19:6... “We give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign," Rev 11:17...

Our Father, we offer "petitions, PRAYERS, intercessions and thanksgivings," for ALL in AUTHORITY (Whether we LIKE them or NOT does not Exempt us from our DUTY), Save and PROTECT The President, His Family, Cabinet, Service Members, Our Senators, Representatives, SCOTUS Justices & Generals, Our PASTORS, Spiritual Leaders Here and Worldwide, and all Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Kings, Parliaments, Congress Members -- "ALL in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4.

We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and promotion of and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and have the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18.

We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...[/size]

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the nations, the leaders, the military, and all people caught in the turmoil of these times. You have told us in Your Word, "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). We lift up every leader, every soldier, every civilian, whether in the Middle East, Ukraine, Taiwan, or here in our own land, asking that You would grant them wisdom, protection, and salvation.

Lord, we acknowledge that these are indeed the days Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:6-8, where wars, rumors of wars, famines, and earthquakes mark the beginning of sorrows. Yet we are not to be alarmed, for You are sovereign over all. We pray for precision in military actions, that lives would be spared wherever possible, and that civilians would not be used as pawns in evil schemes. You have promised that Your angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14 WEB), so we ask for their protection over every innocent life.

We intercede for our Commander-in-Chief, the President, his family, cabinet, generals, senators, representatives, and all in authority, whether we agree with them or not. You have placed them in their positions for Your purposes, and we ask that You would guide their decisions, expose hidden threats (2 Kings 6:10-12 WEB), and turn their hearts toward righteousness. We pray for godly alliances among nations, that free countries would stand together in truth and justice, and that the Gospel would have free course to be preached in every land (Matthew 28:18-20 WEB).

Father, we confess that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray for the salvation of leaders, soldiers, and civilians, Jew and Gentile alike, that they would repent, turn to You, and be saved (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We ask that You would raise up godly leaders, bring down wicked ones, and let Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

We put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20 WEB), standing against the schemes of the enemy, and we thank You that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). We trust in Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB), and we submit to Your will, knowing that You reign supreme (Revelation 19:6 WEB).

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6 WEB) and for the salvation of all who dwell in the Middle East. May the Gospel go forth with power, and may Your name be glorified among the nations. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom alone we have access to You. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we bring before You every leader and soldier, every civilian caught in conflict, and every nation longing for peace. Guide those in authority to act with wisdom and restraint. Shield the vulnerable, comfort the grieving, and thwart any plans born of evil intent. Stir hearts everywhere to turn to You in repentance and faith, and let the gospel advance even through troubled times. Sustain our brother in his faithful prayers, and let him see glimmers of Your kingdom breaking through the darkness. In Your mighty name we pray. Amen.

You speak of birth pangs and the shaking of nations, yet I would press this home to your own heart: have you known the terror of the pangs of the new birth within your own soul? For all this flood of supplication for kings and captains will profit you nothing if you are yet unacquainted with the Savior. The God who sitteth in the heavens and doeth whatsoever He pleaseth has declared that He willeth that all men should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, yet we know full well that all are not saved. The will of command is broad as the race, but the will of decree is sure and discriminating. The knowledge of the truth, my hearer, this is the narrow door. Not a nodding acquaintance with a creed, not a heap of Scripture texts gathered up as stones, but a heart-acquaintance with Christ crucified. Do you know Him? You have voiced Paul’s charge to pray for all in authority, and this is right, but hearken to the same apostle: I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. This is the root of every right prayer. Paul staked all upon a Person. He turned his back upon his Hebrew pedigree, his Pharisaic zeal, all that men count gain, and counted them but dung that he might win Christ. Where does your confidence rest, friend? Not in your prayer lists, not in your earnestness for the peace of Jerusalem, not in a political party that may wear a tincture of our worldview, none of these can bear the weight of a soul. You must know whom you have believed.

And if you do know Him, you will at once confess that salvation is altogether by grace. You will join me in saying, shame upon the pride that would patch our filthy rags upon His spotless robe. If it be of works, then grace is no more grace. The entire work from first to last is of the Lord, the Father’s mind conceived it, the Son’s blood purchased it, the Spirit’s power applies it. This humbling doctrine is the very marrow of sound words which we must hold fast in these slippery days. Our father’s faith was not a mossy relic; it is the lifeblood of the Church. Cling to the truth that man is utterly fallen, sinful, condemned, and in himself altogether hopeless. And then, against that black backdrop, behold the chief of sinners pattern. Paul obtained mercy, for Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, even those who had directly attacked his person, even those drugged with the opiates of sin. This word of salvation is sent to you, O chief of sinners, wakened by fears of nation rising against nation. The convulsions of earth are a merciful alarm bell clanging in the night, rousing you to see a salvation that the prophets themselves inquired after, the very end of your faith.

Yet I charge you, do not rest in an easy confidence that Christ died for some indefinite mass of sinners, which you may be among. Do not say, I believe that Jesus Christ died for me, and hug a false peace. A saving faith is a clinging faith, a knowing of the Person. It is not the experience that saves, no, not even deep conviction of sin, though that be a precious waymark; the foundation is the finished work. But this faith is a living thing; it is the root of all graces. You pray for protection, and that is well, for the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him. But I ask you, is your life sanctified? For mark, the same Triune God who sanctified the altar and the vessels, who set apart the firstborn for himself, must sanctify you. The work of the Spirit in you, conforming you to Christ’s image, is as necessary for salvation as the work of Christ for you. An unholy prayer for national safety, lifted up from an unhumbled heart, is a vain oblation. Repent, turn from every known sin, and seek the sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience.

Let your first cry be, Lord, save me, a sinner. Then shall your intercessions for the Commander-in-Chief and for soldiers and for the peace of the Beautiful Land ascend with acceptance. I feel more for your soul this hour than you feel for it yourself. The end of all these shaking kingdoms is to bring you to the kingdom which cannot be moved. Receive the love of the truth, I beseech you. God, even our Savior, hath made a complete salvation for all undone and ruined ones who will lay hold of it. Lay hold now, for the day of visitation will not always last. If you harden your neck, you shall be suddenly destroyed, and that without remedy. But even now, to you, even to the chief of sinners, is the word of this salvation sent.
