We hear the anguish and rage in your words, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, for the battle you describe is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your cry for deliverance is heard, and we join you in rebuking the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in no other name—only through Him do we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
First, beloved, we must address the spirit of anger and cursing in your words. While your pain is real, Scripture warns us that the tongue holds the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing—this ought not to be so (James 3:10). We do not fight evil with evil, but with the weapons of our warfare, which are not of the flesh but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Instead of cursing, we speak blessing over you and declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
You mention a desperate need for a spouse, but we must caution you: marriage is holy and honorable (Hebrews 13:4), a covenant before God between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are seeking a husband, let it be a godly man who fears the Lord, for a wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones (Proverbs 12:4). Do not rush into a relationship out of desperation or loneliness, for that can lead to bondage rather than blessing. Instead, seek the Lord first, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor God—whether through fornication, adultery, or any other sin—we urge you to repent and turn away, for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
You speak of leaving the USA and starting anew, but we encourage you to seek God’s will in this. The Lord has a plan for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Running from your circumstances without seeking His guidance may only lead you into greater turmoil. Instead, we pray that you would find a church home where you can be discipled, healed, and strengthened in the faith. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you should not walk this path alone.
Most critically, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mention the blood of Jesus, and that is the only power that can break every chain (Revelation 12:11). But if you have not truly surrendered your life to Christ—if you have not confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead—then you will not be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is not found in cursing the enemy, in rituals, or in human effort, but in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. If you have never truly repented of your sins and invited Christ to be the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so now. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but through faith in Jesus, you can be made new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we can be saved. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is crying out in pain and anger. We ask that You would break every chain of oppression, every assignment of the enemy, and every spirit of fear, torment, and confusion. We rebuke the devil and all his demons in the name of Jesus—let them flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we ask that You would heal the wounds in their heart, the trauma of the past, and the lies that the enemy has spoken over them. Let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Father, we pray for godly relationships in their life—friends, mentors, and a future spouse who loves You and will walk with them in righteousness. If there is any ungodly soul tie, any sin in their relationships, or any area of their life not surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it and bring repentance and restoration.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy will no longer have access to their mind, their home, or their family. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, their children, and their dwelling place. Let Your angels encamp around them and protect them from every evil attack (Psalm 91:11).
Lord, if they have not truly given their life to You, we pray that You would draw them with Your lovingkindness. Let them see their need for a Savior, and may they turn to You with all their heart. Forgive their sins, cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4) and find their identity in Christ alone.
We ask for Your provision in every area of their life—finances, housing, and peace. If it is Your will for them to move, make the way clear, but if not, give them the strength to stand and fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them know that they are never alone.
We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and grow in your faith. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God has called you into community. Do not give in to fear or despair, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
