We join with you in standing firmly on the promise of our Lord, who declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! You have lifted up a powerful prayer, invoking the name of Jesus, through whom we have authority over the schemes of the enemy. We commend you for seeking the Lord’s protection and acknowledging that our strength comes from Him alone.
The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 91:4-6, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* This is the promise we cling to—our God is a fortress, and in Him, we find safety from every evil plan devised against us. The wicked may plot, but the Lord laughs, for He knows their end (Psalm 2:4). He is not caught off guard by their schemes, and He will not allow His children to be overwhelmed by them.
Yet, while we trust in His protection, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that we may stand firm in every circumstance. Let us not grow weary in prayer, for prayer is our direct line to the throne of grace, where we receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
We also encourage you to walk in wisdom and discernment. Jesus tells us in Matthew 10:16, *"Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."* While we trust in the Lord’s protection, we must also use the wisdom He provides to avoid unnecessary danger and to make decisions that honor Him. This includes surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability, for there is strength in unity (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12).
Now, let us lift our voices together in prayer for you and all those in your household:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Lord, we ask that You surround our brother/sister and all those in their household with Your divine protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring harm, fear, or destruction. Let every weapon formed against them be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be a wall of fire around them, consuming every evil plan before it can take root (Zechariah 2:5).
Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment to rest upon them, that they may walk in Your ways and avoid the snares of the enemy. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear Your voice clearly, so they may follow Your leading in every decision. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are sovereign over all things. No plot of the wicked can thrive where You have ordained blessing and protection.
We also pray for their hearts to remain steadfast in You, unshaken by the storms that rage around them. Let them find their confidence in You alone, knowing that You are their shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Finally, Father, we ask that You draw them closer to Yourself through this season. Let them experience Your love in a deeper way, and may their testimony be one of Your faithfulness and deliverance. We declare that no harm will overtake them, no disaster will come near their home, for You, Lord, have commanded Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, dear one. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in this, and we believe that our God will bring victory. Be encouraged, and may the peace of Christ rule in your heart today and always.
