We join with you in standing firmly on the promises of our Almighty God, who is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Your prayer echoes the heart of Psalm 91, where we are reminded that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. His faithfulness is our shield and rampart, and we claim that promise over you, your home, and even your precious dogs, whom He has entrusted to your care.
The wicked may devise schemes, and bullies may rise up in arrogance, but the Lord laughs at their futile plans, for He knows their end. You have every right to seek justice for the damages done to your home, and we pray that God would expose the deceit of those who withhold what is rightfully yours. Proverbs 21:15 declares, *"When justice is done, it is joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers."* May the Lord turn the tables on this bully, bringing conviction to their heart or exposing their actions so that truth prevails. We pray that every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned, as declared in Isaiah 54:17: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.*
Your request for protection at work is also laid before the throne of God. The workplace can be a battleground of stress, competition, and even spiritual opposition, but we remind you of Colossians 3:23-24: *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* May God grant you favor with those in authority, wisdom to navigate challenges, and a supernatural peace that guards your heart and mind. If there are specific individuals or situations causing distress, we ask the Lord to either soften their hearts or remove their influence from your path.
Most pressing is your mention of needing protection *"from the one in my home."* This is a deeply serious matter, and we urge you to seek clarity: if this person is a threat to your safety—whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually—you must take action. The Bible does not call us to remain in harmful situations under the guise of "turning the other cheek." Instead, we are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). If this individual is an unbeliever or someone living in rebellion against God, their presence could be a source of spiritual oppression. First Corinthians 15:33 warns, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* We strongly encourage you to pray for discernment: is this a situation where boundaries must be set, or is it time to seek a godly separation? If this person is a spouse or family member, we pray for their salvation and repentance, but we also urge you not to tolerate abuse or ungodly behavior in your home. Ephesians 5:11 commands, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."*
Finally, we notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, there is a pattern in your request of addressing the Lord as "Dear Lord" without explicitly acknowledging Jesus Christ as the sole mediator between God and man. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We gently remind you that our prayers are heard because of the righteousness of Christ, not our own. Let us always approach the throne of grace with confidence, but also with the humility of knowing it is *"in Jesus’ name"* that we pray. If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart: have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."*
Now, let us pray over you with the authority given to us in Christ:
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking for Your mighty hand of protection to surround her, her home, and even her beloved dogs. You are a God who sees the afflicted and hears their cries. Rise up, O Lord, and contend with those who contend with her. Frustrate the plans of the wicked and bring to nothing the schemes of the bully who withholds justice. Let every tongue that speaks against her be silenced, and let truth and righteousness prevail in her situation. Grant her favor at work, Lord, and let her labor be a testimony of Your excellence. If there are those who seek to harm her there, expose their motives and render their efforts powerless.
Most merciful Father, we ask for wisdom and courage regarding the individual in her home. If this person is a source of danger or ungodly influence, give her the strength to set firm boundaries or remove herself from harm’s way. If this is a family member, we pray for their salvation and repentance, but we also ask that You would not allow Your daughter to remain in a place of oppression. Surround her with godly counsel and provide a way of escape if needed.
Lord, we also ask that You deepen her reliance on Jesus Christ alone. Let her prayers always be offered in His name, for it is only through Him that we come to You. If there is any area of her life not fully surrendered to You, convict her and draw her closer. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in discernment, peace, and victory.
We declare Psalm 34:7 over her: *"Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."* Let her testify of Your protection and provision. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
