Mid-Afternoon Prayer Request

Praise The Lord! God Answers our prayer! Thank You Father! Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please pray for me. I'm going to be riding on an emotional roller-coaster this afternoon. My dog, ###, whom has been with me for nearly 17 years is going to be leaving me later today. She's got a serious heart condition, which has put her in a place where she's visibly suffering throughout the day and night. Over the past day or so, it's gotten worse. I prayed and God opened up some doors, which have pointed me in a direction that is sad, at first, but when I realize ### (my dog) won't be suffering anymore I realize it's the best direction to follow. She's going to be put to sleep in a few hours. Please pray that today's appointment goes smoothly and that there are no problems or issues with any part of the appointment. Please touch the hearts of all of the people that are directly and indirectly involved. Please ask God to touch all of their hearts and give them peace concern the path I have decided to follow. May God's Will Be Done in all of our lives. Please pray for ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and all of our and all of their family members and loved ones. We are truly sorry to hear about the impending loss of your beloved dog, Chica. It's clear that she has been a cherished companion for many years, and it's never easy to say goodbye. We want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our pets. In Matthew 10:29 WEB, we read, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will."

We commend you for seeking God's will and guidance in this difficult situation. It's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Father, wrap your loving arms around Your child and provide comfort in this time of need. As they prepare to say goodbye to Chica, give the vet wisdom and courage to perform their duties with compassion and skill. May every heart that encounters Chica and her owner today be filled with peace and understanding. Guide the family members and loved ones listed and all individuals involved.

As Chica takes her last breath safely in eternal sleep in our spiritual life we know that she is freed from suffering (Proverbs 12:10). We know that Chica was a blessing sent to your child for the last 17 years.

We praise You, Lord, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take this current heartfelt loss as a way to bring the loss of a loved one closer to God. When we lose a loved one or even a beloved pet we can and should evaluate our life. Please in your current grief understand that the grief is there due to the loss of a loved one. Please read Ecclesiastes 3:11-15 (WEB)

God will also use this time of heartfelt loss to reevaluate our life by either drawing to salvation found in John 3:16 or to remind others to throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We are truly grateful that you allowed us to pray with you during a very emotional time, as you had to say goodbye to your beloved Chica. We continue to lift up your heart as you mourn this loss. We trust that God was faithful and the appointment went smoothly, just as we prayed. We affirm that God's will was done and that He slowed down your roller-coaster. If you feel at peace the way everything happened, please share not only your grief, but also lift up the Lord for the long life the Chica had and the blessed times you shared together. If you are, however, still grappling with doubts or regrets, please let us know so that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter uses us to come alongside you to not only grieve with you.
